This is very common. Since English is most likely ther second or third language, they might think MISB means Mint in box. When ever I buy from asia I ask them if it is sealed with tape and that the bx has never been open.

This gentleman lives in Canada. I have 3 Asian importers that I highly recommend and trust and will even overpay for their items. Based on his recent e-mails he seems to have a pretty good grasp of the English language.
And Getter, how do explain that in two other auctions he states an open complete item as 'MIB'?
I really could careless. The item was complete, but dirty, but he does not anywhere state that it was open in his auction, and used the acronym MISB, where in other open complete auctions he uses MIB.
I have filed a complaint with Ebay, so it least maybe he will get a warning to be more forthcoming. If he truly did 'mess up' than he is none the worse for where, and probably learned something.
If he is dishonest, than he knows there are knowledgeable collectors out there who will call him on his bluffs, and he will have to deal with more.
My feedback speaks for itself. His does also.

Dear strongbow24,
Believe what you may then. I am honest, your just looking to get money back and trying to find any excuse to get.
Do what you must, leave me a negative feedback I will also warn others of your sneaky way of trying to get moneyback with a negative also.
good day.

that's tough talking there. maybe this guy is confident of his high feedback rating, that's why he replied such and such to you. i dunno but with that many feedback (indicating he has sold many items) he should really know his acronyms.
like you said, you're not looking to get your money back, so the least he could do is accept your admonishments and move on, not try to act tough with a devil-may-care attitude. that's a warning sign indicating that this guy's not one to deal with when it comes to disputes as he's kinda close-minded.

all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

I only read your post, I didn't research all of his auctions. MISB listing from overseas seller and getting opened boxes is common. But, if the dude is in Canada and has other listed as MIB, then basically he didn't pay attention to the item, sold it as is, and doesn't give a crap.
If I were you, I'd tell him to give you some money back or you're going to dispute the charge, so he ither comes out with less for being dishonest, or nothing, but it's up to him(that is if you paid with a credit card).

Dear strongbow24,
Keep on complaining all you wish. Sorry your not satisfied. I've been had many times from people like you. I give money back and I still get a negative, so now I will not.
This transaction is complete as far as I'm concerned, do what you must.
bye.

I've filed a complaint with Ebay, not much else I can do at this point. I paid with a cc through Paypal.
If the guy felt bad, I'd be willing to be kind, but he doesn't care.
I'm tempted to leave feedback, but what can I say, besides the misleading title to this one, and his Star Convoy, I have nothing I can add. Hopefully other buyers are smarter than me. And I don't deserve a negative for paying on time, but it's my bad for not asking. After my final reply, I'll let him go.
EDIT: Either he has taken his auctions down or they all ended, because he has no auctions left up for sale.

They didn't squash it hard enough, I saw the same thing with xbox 360's

NIIIIIICE! Me thinks you may have been the one to call his bluff finally. Hopefully you've succeeded in getting one (of many unfortunately) of the bad seeds off Ebay

but thats derailing...damn that sucks tt, especially knowing that one went last month sealed for half that cost

I hope ebay helps resolve this for you. I suppose a thank you is in order...i was actually looking at his jafcon prime.
It seems odd thanking someone when they got ripped off

Just putting in my own two cents... it really is worthwhile to fully read item descriptions and/or contact the seller before bidding. I recently won a "MIB" Machine Wars Starscream, but the description had, in caps, "STILL SEALED." I don't tend to take basic item titles seriously for that reason alone.
Granted, redeco non-scream hasn't arrived just yet, so...
