I know its uncertain since Takara hasn't announced anything about the future of the line, but do you think that ENCORE means that they are only going to reissue figures that they've already reissued? That's kind of what I get from the name of the line, any other thoughts?

Well I hope they re-issue also other Transformers like Fortress Maximus and Scorponok again, but one thing is sure I don't buy thefirst wave because I have those already from the last Re-issue Boxart line. I just take new re-issues those which weren't re-issued in the boxart line.

For their sake I hope that isn't the case, otherwise they'll never see another penny of my hard earned money. I, like most everyone else have picked up one of these things one of the other 2-4 times they've reissued them since 2001.

If we have accurate knock offs of Mirage and Swoop right down to the G1 packaging, where the hell are the Takara Collection versions? Ratbat? Frenzy, Rumble,? Yea, they've been knocked off pretty damn well also. Where is my Takara Collection of cassetticons?

Oh, and what is the point of these Encore figures? They don't offer anything else over the previous versions...

perhaps not, other than they allow those of us who missed out on them the first time to get them at a decent price

If it's trademark issues I can understand. If it's mold issues then they should talk to the knockoff guys.
