Fansproject Sixknight definitely is leaps and bounds ahead of the G1 counterpart.

It looks good to me. I'll buy a Quickswitch version of the mould, although the Sixknight colours are more likely to come first. I want this mainly because I had the toy back int he day.

Yeah, I'm liking the look of this. I am also impressed at how the modes have come out. Impressive engineering.

There was the G1 toy. Outside of that, there was the Japanese G1 trilogy that he appears in. I think it was the middle one, Supergod Masterforce. I don't know what appearances he had in the comics.
FOr me, Headmasters and Supergod Masterforce had the potential to be brought over to the US and redubbed. It represents unrealized potential. (Plus, I had Powermaster Prime and always wanted to see cartoons of him.)

Right but how did people watch this stuff int he 80s? early 90s? Surly not on the internet..
I mean I have the entire headmasters series now... but I can't really watch it... =X
I've recently (2 years ago?) re-watched the entire G1 series up to rebirth. And some stuff is hard to watch. the nostalgia is great though. I love the 86 movie =]

People only know Quickswitch for the G1 toy and, I think, something like a single pannel in a single page in a single Marvel issue.
Sixknight, the japanese redeco, had a somewhat prominent role in the Masterforce series. He was a loner, a space wanderer always in search of worthy oponents. He sided with the Decepticons just so that he could face godmaster Ginrai (you know, japanese powermaster Optimus Prime), but he wanted a clean fight without the cons taking hostages and stuff like that. Strengh and honor, Gladiator's style. When Ginrai beat him and revealed his human nature (well, the fact that being a special human was the source of his power), Sixknight was shocked, disappeared for a while and when he came back he had decided to help these (sort of half-human) autobots as they seemed noble and honorable and such
So yeah, I'd rather get the Sixknight redeco, too. Actually, here in Spain the whole japanese G1 shows were aired on national TV every morning. In fact, Masterforce was kind of my first TF show

The only thing i don't like about this is the head in animal mode. Could be made to be more like the G1 toy. I'd be on board for a Sixknight version or both.

I'd be a buyer in the SixKnight colors. Some of the modes look a bit worse than the 1988 modes. Still,It's probably a lot better than Hasbro can create.

As long as they keep going with headmasters, I want more Decepticon headmasters.

Re: Fansproject Sixknight/Quickswitch.
FP created Six modes & only the robot mode looks good. The Other Five modes look terrible. I just don't understand how anyone besides HasTak. can design such a ugly weird looking animal head like FP did here. The toy looks like its deluxe scale.

I am very impressed with FansProject Headmaster series, so I am hoping that this will have cool transformations, quality, and articulation. Though that ankle doesn't seem to bend

I'm just not a big enough Fan of Quickswitch to want to spend 3rd prices prices on a toy.
Even if I was a fan of Quickswitch. Think this FP toys Sculpt looks worse than the 1988 toy. other than having Six modes, it barely homages the 1988 toy.
