<a href="http://www.marketwire.com/" target="_blank">Marketwire</a> has put up a nice little <a href="http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release.do?id=781396" target="_blank">article</a> on their site about consumer electronics manufacturer <a href="http://www.gpx.com/" target="_blank">GPX</a>. One of their boombox radios (type BCDW9815CNP) stood model for the <a href="/movie/index.php">Transformers Movie</a> character of Frenzy.

"<i>It's flattering to know that the design of the box was progressive enough to fit into this exciting and action-packed film,</i>" said Bill Fetter, CEO of DPI, Inc.

Movie Frenzy was designed off an already existing machine, the GPX BCDW9815CNP model.

You could buy one before the movie was even released.

if people start buying that model simply cuz it was in the movie...someone please shoot them..lol

i mean it be one thing if it was specifically designed for it but that article is clearly saying, its just one of their many models that Bay and/or producers decided to use as Frenzy's alt form.

Your reasoning here is flawed and downright stupid.

Add yourself to the list of people then. Anything in the movie could be bought, not just the radio.
