This is a fan site. We're friends here. this is about making crappy toys better. this is an escape from politics and every day life. We don't need to be reminded of that kinda crap when come here.

Besides, some of us (including myself) have served in our country's military. You don't speak for me. I hold a total 180* view to yours.

I say this lovingly as a friend and as a fan. I know you've got crap going on right now. You can feel that way, that's your right garanteeded by this great country. I know a lot of people agree with you. That's fine.

But when you post political commentarys on the front page as a site admin, you speak not for yourself, but for the site. And that's not cool man.

Ya wana glitch, fine. Do it on the fourms in a thread designated for political moaning, so those of us that don't agree/don't wana see can stay out of it. It's only a paragraph, go back and take it out.

This isn't a rant. This is a genuine concern. I know people don't agree with me, but I felt I had to say something.

Like I said man. You have a right to an opinion. But you can't slap it on the front page like that. Again, I say this out of friendship, kindness and concern.

EDIT: Like I said, this isn't a rant and I wasn't trying to incour a flame war. I just felt like I needed to voice my feeling on the matter. Perhaps I should have done this through PM or somethign else. It is your site however and you can do what you want. Just be mindful of others and your professional image.

Nothing against you TM2 Dinobot, but its his site, he can in fact post whatever he wants to on the front page. He owns the domain, he pays the server cost, as long as its not illegal he has the right to post whatever he likes and he gives you the privilege of coming here and posting.

Me, I'm currently in the military, have been for 8 years, grew up with military parents, uncles, grandparents, its my life for the most part. And I don't like the President. I follow the orders of those appointed over me as I swore to do, but I'm allowed to have an opinion and thats mine. TFmaster has his and regardless of if you agree with him he's allowed to speak his mind.

And as you said its only a paragraph, you can not read it if you like, you can skip it with ease, no need to censor his speech just so you can avoid something you don't agree with.

Part of what makes a website unique is when there are some personal views thrown in. Love them or hate them, Fox News [sarcasm]"No Spin Zone"[/sarcasm] is part of the appeal to some people about that network because they spin the news to a more conservative viewpoint essentially to appeal more to conservative viewers. That's also why a lot of people don't like Fox News because they do this spin.

In the past, I've expressed several of my opinions through SEIBERTRON.com with my site's association with Rock The Vote during the last presidential election, various sports teams such as the Cubs, Tigers, Bears (etc.), theoretically the Before Carly section, and even my viewpoint regarding the face of movie Megatron despite cries that I should keep my opinions off the "official" parts of SEIBERTRON.com. I like to think that by expressing my opinions from time to time that it gives SEIBERTRON.com a little bit more of a unique or entertaining appeal to people that have similar interests or viewpoints as I do.

When you have stock holders or other people who have financially invested in a company or organization, then that's when an owner needs to be mindful that the views expressed are more inline with that of everyone who has invested. That's not happening here or on my site so if TFmaster wants to express his views via the website that he owns, then I say more power to him.

I made my own comments because just like you I have the right to have my own opinion.Same as why you wrote this thread. You don't like it then that's your choice to be on an opposite postition on the matter. But to tell me, on my own site, that I can't speak my own mind? That is wrong...

People can agree or disagree with me on the matter to their own accord but to tell me that I can't voice my own opinion is just like the people out there trying to silance people that speak what they feel for swaying an outcome that would be in their favor and my in my opposing veiw.

Let me also say that a "Professional image" isn't and never has been or will be what I am about. It takes away the heart of the human being when all we do is think of things in a professional matter.

He used his political stand points on his own properties and was told what he can or can;t say as well as what he can or can't show.

This also reminds me of the CRAP people got for the first couple years after 9/11 about showing images of the still ane fine looking Twin Towers and the images of the ruin that it became and it's cause. For fear that it'll remind people and hurt them...

I've watched the news and every freaking time OUR OWN PRESIDENT has gone on TV, with a much more wide audiance then this little site has I wager and that includes interupting COUNTLESS public TV shows to state his own opinion to hope he can sway the public veiw in support of what he's trying to do out there, and I'm wrong for making a front page post?

No.It isn't. While mine was one little parragraph he's on the TV for the better part of a half an hour if not more for each broadcast.

I agree. I have a right to voice my opinion too, just like you. You're also right about that's why i said what I did. You are wrong however about me thinking you shouldn't have opinions. You should. it is your site, it is your page, you can say whatever you want. Does that mean I agree? no. same reason you dont agree with me. Do I think you should say that on the front page? no, i dont. However, that doesn't mean you CAN'T. I never said that. I wouldn't have, even if I agreeded. That's all I was saying.

Difference of opinion is how a democracy work. it's what our government (and others) was founded on. People should disagree, and explain calmy why. That's how it works. So that's what I did.

So, in short, I'm glad you said what you did. It allowed me to enact my rights and say what I thought, and you responded. That's cool man. We don't agree, but we can still work together.

Also, man, if you've got a problem with me, say something. Don't ban me. If you really want me gone, all you have to do is simply ask. I love this site, and that's why I'd walk away without a fight.

Let me put it this way. That's not what this is about.

If I was ganna ban you then you would have been banned. Even if it's not POPULAR discussion it's intellectual discussion and that's what I value more.

I said nothing balently like our government is full of morons but that like everyone that goes through war, being in it or suffering from the after effects, felt that it really has gone on long enough.

And there is no way that everyone is ganna feel as I do and the thing we should all keep in mind is the choice and right to do so without negitivity just because it's a speach you personally rather not hear.

It's your right to hum instead of listen and argue a valid point.

But my point is the thing that makes this country great is our choice of how to use them as long as it doesn't harm anyone.

If you look closely back at your post, what you thought looked like suggestion sounded like demand.

I have no problem with any form of discussion but when you tell me in my OWN home that I welcome you all into that it's not right to say and feel as I do to whome I feel comforatble is worse then anything I could have said on the front page.

I even said that I wasn't political and that I should stop before i'm talking out my own ass because that's not what i'm about.
