I don't consider ROTF Devastator a true combiner, since the individual vehicles were non-transforming drones.
What would you call RiD Rail Racer? Were the individual trains considered Deluxes or Voyagers?
Every other combiner I can think of was Legend or Scout size (the individual members, I mean).
Is FOC Bruticus the first Deluxe Combiner? When I opened the package from Amazon and saw the G2 version, fully assembled, in the box, it was much bigger than I pictured it in my head.
Is FOC Bruticus the first "Deluxe" combiner?

If it accounts for anything, here's the list of combiners whose components were all sold in the same price point upon first release:
Generation 1
Devastator (6 members)
Predaking (5 members)
Monstructor/Dinoking (6 members)
G1 Japan
Raiden (6 members)
Road Caesar (3 members)
Landcross (3 x 2 members)
Liokaiser (6 members)
Robots in Disguise
Landfill (4 members, Deluxe)
Rail Racer (3 members, Mega)
Revenge of the Fallen
Legends Constructicon Devastator (7 members)
As for the BW ones, Tripredacus was sold as 2 Basics and a Deluxe, and Magnaboss as 2 Deluxes and a Basic (with more liberal pricing in mind).
While he's not the first to have all members be the same size, FoC Bruticus shares a distinction with G1 Predaking in having 5 members, and as such the torso suffers in overall proportion.

Actually, as far as the BW combiners, Magnaboss and Tripredacus were both just sold as Ultras without any real effort to make their components fit into a pre-established price point.

For the rest of the world, yes. Japan had their versions (Magnaboss and Tripledacus) both together and individually.

For all members, same price point, there's also stuff like Universe Defensor. I don't know they sold him in Japan, but when KayBee brought it over as an exclusive, they sold them as six individual micromasters.
