If the clear resin is pretty close to normal resin, I think it should be strong enough. If its a thin skinny sword, it might be brittle. But given the shape and size of Prime's sword, its actually pretty chunky and thick. But again, I am no expert. Just my two cents. Maybe someone more active on kitbashing can chime in.
