As I told you last night I love the hell out of that episode to see Benjamin going up to Kirk and meeting him was excellent and the see Julian and Miles in that lineup next to Scotty and Checkov was awesome

It was good for nostalgia's sake, and they wanted to show off their photography/special effects skills. (I don't know what kind of budget DS9 had, but they made full use of it). I appreciated how they completely rebuilt those sets.

I wasn't much of a fan on Voyagers take on a 30th anniversary episode
Theirs was ok but it wasn't like DS9's

I know they had some kind of special episode, but as Voyager barely keeps my interest, I've never seen it.

Ah, yes, "Flashback". It's been ages since I've seen that one, let alone any Trek episodes of any kind. What I found interesting about that one was that in Star Trek: Generations, Tim Russ played a bridge officer aboard the Enterprise-B, which was also Excelsior-class; then in "Flashback" we get to see him play Tuvok as a bridge officer aboard the Excelsior itself (during the events of STVI). Kinda crazy, that.
I do prefer DS9's 30th Anniversary ep, though. I especially like when Sisko and Dax are working on a circuitry panel right across from Kirk and Spock. Sisko and Dax's dialogue in that scene is great.

What I remember about Flash Back was that it messed up continuity.

Same here. Think the last time I watched star trek was when I found the first episode of DS9 on VHS for roughly $1 somewhere. Before that it was the end of Enterprise. Kind of interested in the next movie, but with this strike thing going on...

Same here.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

As much as I enjoy Trials and Tribble-ations, I don't think I'd put it in my top ten DS9 episodes, which looks something like this:
In the Pale Moonlight
Chimera
The Begotten
Things Past
The Wire
Improbable Cause (or something like that)
The Die is Cast
In Purgatory's Shadow
By Inferno's Light
Wrongs Darker than Death or Night
In the Pale Moonlight
Chimera
The Begotten
Things Past
The Wire
Improbable Cause (or something like that)
The Die is Cast
In Purgatory's Shadow
By Inferno's Light
Wrongs Darker than Death or Night

My faves for TNG were Klingon and Borg episodes with some Romulans thrown in
DS9 was a bit different there were Klingon but others to
I like Quark and like the episode where he Rom and Nog caught thrown back in time to crash land in Roswell NM I think that came on the weekend after Trials and Tribble-ations

Was anyone else completely cool with it when Dax was killed? I remember the preview when they dramatically stated that SOMEONE WAS GOING....TO DIE!!!!! I was like, please don't be Odo!!!

I don't think I would have been if I'd gotten into DS9 enough to have seen it happen. I've seen enough of it to know I would have liked Jadzia Dax if I did follow DS9.

I didn't particularly dislike Dax, but she's nowhere near my favorite character. And her episodes weren't among the best of the series, IMO. Though I will say, her death was really cheap.

It would of been something if it was a male that got the Dax symbiote next instead of Ezri
Worf would of possibly killed that Dax off

I wasnt happy when I saw that episode but I knew for some time that it was going to be Dax.....well at least I suspected that it would be her, she was the only one that didnt renew her contract for the 7th season.

I heard she didn't renew her contract because she was getting less screentime, due to the growing cast because of the Dominion war. I heard she didn't even allow them to use her image in season 7. If you'll remember, Worf's flashbacks didn't include her. Do you guys know anything about this?

During Season 7 she was on Becker I thought she left for mor money and was tired of Trek
Why sould she be mad as an actor she did things to help her career even kiss another woman

Mostly true.....the real truth was that she just wasnt very happy doing the show. She didnt even want to do season 6 but only agreed to do it so she could leave the show on good terms.
And as far as I know she didnt have any problem with her image being used in the flash backs but that the producers didnt want to pay her for the use of it because they were upset with her leaving.
