Sure, markets are flooded with various bumblebees now but I
only want him as a new or old beetle!

I do believe that Porsche also barred Hasbro from using their vehicles. They made a proto of an Alternator Porsche that would have been Jazz, but when the car company said no they went with Mazda instead.

Relax, when it becomes clear just how much GM's profits have skyrocketed from the new TF movie, Porsche (and, by association, VW) will be much more likely to let their designs be used, at least for Autobots. At least, that's the hope I'm holding on to.

Since wen does Porsche own VW?
They have 25% shares of them, but that doesn't make them the owners.
And Porsche won't want there products to be associated with War, it happened before.

Why don't they want it to happen again?
Becos there are some pp that will use every pice of **** they can get there hands on to give the Germans **** about being NAZI's!

On 26 March, 2007 Porsche took its holding of Volkswagen shares to 30.9%, triggering a takeover bid under German law. They just had a "very close corporate relationship" prior to this.

It's too bad about that. Mitsubishi and Toyota produced many engines, tanks, airplane, and ships for WWII but they didn't get labeled that way.
