Ah, thanks. It scans, copies, and prints, thank you! :P

I just spent an hour and a half with tech support fixing the problem. Remember the indian dude from the movie? Yeah. I should get a gold star for the effort just to get in this little contest here.

Ok, well you need to install your scanners software to make it run properly on your computer. This usually comes in the form of a disc that came with the scanner. Just pop it in the disc tray and follow the on-screen instructions and it should all be pretty simple from there.

I installed it, but something went wrong...I guess. The tech guy spent almost an hour deleting everything necessary to start over and who knows what else. It was printing and copying fine, but not scanning at all. It was just a mess. But I think it's all good now. Would anyone like to see any of my practice work? Please keep in mind that I've barely every drawn any TFs at all, and haven't drawn much period since I started having kids.

Hmmm...getting cold feet here! :?

Ok, I'll let you see my ridiculous artwork. Don't be expecting Miss IDW over here. One more problem....everytime I post a pic on here, it's really big after I crop it to the point where it is even accepted. How can I make the entire thing smaller without a lot of hassle and confusion?

I have finished the line work for Sunstreaker. Once I figure everything out about getting it on here, it will be posted. I still don't know how to color it well, so it may just have to be black and white. :(

What I do to make pics more manageable is download them to an image hosting site like photobucket.com (its free). Once you download them there, you can save the image back to your computer as a smaller file. Photobucket shrinks images to a more internet browser friendly size. My art here is all posted from that site. There maybe better ways but thats all I know.
If you do do it that way, when you post a pic, copy the
img image from photobucket and paste it to your post.

"The new, non-lethal strain of Cosmic Rust may have been little more than a temporary eyesore, but to Sunstreaker it may has well been the bubonic plague."

Dont be so hard on yourself. Ive seen alot worse. Your pic wasnt bad, but id say keep practicing and you'll get there as you look like you have the ability, just not the skills. Make any sense?

I am on vacation and away from my home computer/drawing desk, so I can't really draw anything new for this week's contest...

However..

I've done some comics in the past that fit the category and they can be found here (OPTIMUS BAD DAY 1) and here (OPTIMUS BAD DAY 2)

Basically these would make for a very bad day for Optimus Prime. So this really isn't an entry, but I figure it couldn't hurt to post 'em

Well, before that picture all I had ever done with TFs was draw Ratchet's head a few times, Prowl's head once, and about 2/3 of Sunstreaker's body. Drawing big, blocky things is not something I've ever done. Add to that the fact that in the last five years, I've maybe done 20 or 25 drawings of anything AT ALL. So I'm really, really rusty. And every other picture is either Spiderman or Wolverine, basically. But I'm definitely going to keep practicing. Here is a picture I drew four years ago. Since that picture, I have maybe drawn ten or twelve pictures. I think if I practiced a lot more I'd be pretty good.

Oh yeah, you definateley got the skills by the looks of it, you just need some WD-40 on those old rusty joints of yours.

Start practicing again and im sure you'll be awesome around here.

Thanks. I had a passion for drawing as a child. My specialties were ponies, kitties, and Ninja Turtles. I had an ongoing "comic" for a year or two, about two cats. They were even numbered issues. My folks thought they were great. As an adult, I just haven't devoted much time to it. This forum here has sparked my desire to draw again. :D

Ditto, but i still find it hard to get the energy and motivation to draw alot of the time. I find it easier to paint and kitbash toys, but that costs more money than i have so i cant do it as often as id like.

Weapon: Buffalo Missile
I'd like to enter a comic about Starscream. Do we just post our piece in our sig when finished, or as an attachment?

Actually you just post it as an image code ie: and then you should preview it and submit. If you need an image host you can use photobucket.com for free they are one of the bigger ones and in my opinion alot more user freindly. :D

Yo, I finished my entry... Ok, it;s not exactly how I imagined it, but I'm happy with it & my hands are killing me.

I drew the picture of Ultra Magnus, scanned it, tidied it, changed the hues of certain parts to add a bit of colour, added in a photo of a pub claimed from Google Images (if it's against rules to use photos just let me know & I'll remove my entry or change it.) & tweaked the lighting.

Image

Hope this qualify for the contest ^^ If not enjoy anyway. Or not, whatever's good.
