I've know it for maybe the past 6 months-- but it is sweet. Good news is good news, no matter when you hear it.

Hence my original post where I stated "I don't know the difference between a piece of Protein and DNA".
Protein technically comes from DNA.
DNA unwinds(i could go into the mechanics but theres so many protiens used to unwind DNA then you got your Okazaki fragments and so on. It's not worth it) and is transcripted to form RNA (for those who dont know what RNA is, best way to put it it is a the opposite of one of the strands of dna that make up the helix). RNA go to these "processing plants" called ribosomes where proteins are "formed" (again process is to complicated). The proteing then is sent to the rest of the cell to preform jobs (Replicate, process nutrients etc) or excreted into the body to relay chemical messages for the body to preform functions.
DNA=blue print
RNA=Messenger
Protein=chemical signal
