I have to partially disagree here. RID Optimus accomplishes the robot mode with everything in its proper place: the chest is the real truck window, the shoulders are the real cab windvane. With some red paint, you can get yourself a more show-accurate Prime. That said, both molds ABSOLUTELY have their merits. But to me, this is kind of a case like FE Cliff vs. RID Cliff: I'm willing to accept a bit less proportional accuracy to the show if it means less cheating parts.

I do agree with you about the windshield, but I still feel like the FE does a much better overall job in the actual transformation. The main thing that wins for me is the lack of back kibble on the FE vs. the PRiD.



Also, the smokestacks and wheels are where they should be to be show accurate.



Either way, like you said they both have good qualities. I'm actually getting the PRiD version with a case assortment from BBTS and am looking forward to having him as well!

Fair enough. I do still love FE Prime's look, and I'll probably get him when I can.

Wow, both Vehicons look amazing. I guess this is a case of "I'll just get them both."

Afterall, they do look better in pairs, right?
