:( I concur, this indeed is too frightning, why Harley would want that is beyond my comprehension. They obviously have not thought ahead.

I do not like it if Nightwatcher is correct and they are avoiding the chemical vat, "Like the Killing Joke" my ass.

Why would Harley be in the movie in the first place? The didn't say the story would be The Killing Joke, the idea is supposed to be that The Joker is like his Killing Joke incarnation, as well as his early appearances in the comic.

Or we could, you know, wait and see. That's my favorite approach.

To use a phrase someone coined on another board: In Nolan We Trust.

And since I see I didn't phrase my initial post entirely right: They'll probably use story elements from The Killing Joke (and probably The Long Halloween in Dent's case), but the emphasis will be on characterization. They can't and won't literally do both of those stories.

Anthony Michael Hall joins cast of The Dark Knight, except he's not allowed to reveal who he's playing.

Yeah, but who reads the first post over again?

Let's leave this one here just in case people don't re-read the first post of a thread they've already been posting in. You'll catch the newcomers, I'll get the rest. ;)

This is awesome on so many levels.

I have to admit, if they go with this design, then I love it, I absolutely love it.

I have my doubts about Ledger pulling it off...but with Nolan at the helm, it will be awesome like the last one.
