As I previously mentioned, "Lifespark" was a mistake in Furman's part. But "Armada",was the term used on the fleet or the other Cycloni? What does the Movie bible say?

Havent been able vto find a movie bible.

But the script calls for a small fleet of Cyclonus clones.

I've always been under the impression that the 'second' Cyclonus in that transformation sequence was simply an animation error and Bombshell becomes Cyclonus.

No annimation error at play here.

Like the dialog, its a trow back to the early production of the film.

Just like Scourge, Cyclonus was intended to have a tesam of Clones.

I would say that Cyclonus was created from Bombshell, and Skywarp became the "Armada".
When the Decepticons attacked while Autobots were entering the shuttles, one jet that looked the same as Cyclonus was shot down by Grimlock, which could mean the death of "Armada".
I do remember the other jets seen along with Cyclonus in Five Faces of Darkness, but that could easily be an animation error, seeing as how Season 3 was chock full of them (Such as Optimus Prime fighting against the transorganic on Cybertron, Ratchet and Ironhide among a crowd of Autobots, etc).

I thought Grimlock shot down a Sweep, not Cyclonus?

To be honest I'm not really sure, but it seems like I remember seeing that. Maybe it wasn't Grimlock that shot him down, if he was even shot at all... Haha, sorry, I'll check again next time I get the chance.

Actully its just an other trow back to earlier production ideas.

Different animation teams worked on the series and updates just didnt get passed around correctly.

(Such as Optimus Prime fighting against the transorganic on Cybertron]

I didnt know about that one.

Got a link/pic?

Grimlock did indeed shoot down a Sweep, but if you watch the entire seen very closly you'll see 2 Cyclonus's attacking one of the leaving shuttles.
