YUM! Looks delicious!
But I'd like to take a moment for a quick HEALTH TIP!
As your friend and fellow transforming robot enthusiast, I'd like to encourage you to try to add a few more vegetables to your plate, D. Especially those of the green leafy variety. There's a great book written by Nick Offerman called, Paddle Your Own Canoe, in which he dedicates an entire chapter to eating vegetables as a means to counter balance the immense amounts of delicious meats, and specifically tantalizing pork products he consumes. He sights examples of how they keep his arteries, as well as his bowels clean and clear of obstruction so that he can continue to shovel in the fried, baked, and grilled mountains of juicy and succulent meats. He does not however state that he even enjoys vegetables, but rather see them as a necessary evil.
Of course being Nick Offerman, the book is packed full of other hilarious tales. I highly recommend it, just like I recommend taking his advice.
And in light of current D-Max specific life events, don't you want to live forever?

Believe me Cobs, I do actually have a fairly balanced greenery in my diet!
I normally buy a head of lettuce every other week and some other bags of shredded lettuce every other week that is not the heads of lettuce week for salads and greeneries for my fajitas. the corn was substituting for my regular head of lettuce this week because the store was out of lettuce. I also try to make sure onions and peppers make it into my diet as often as i can, usually with fajitas, which are a at least 2 nights a week every other week thing, mostly more.
I've also replaced my lunchtime dessert with yogurt, so I am trying to do my best healthwise all around.
Because yes, i do want to live a long time with the future Mrs. Max
I appreciate the concern for my well being though! I try to balance it all out.
And yeah, also Burn is right

I quit eating fried pork a couple of years ago. No bacon, no sausage patties, no links. I still eat cold cut ham, usually in a sandwich, but that's it. I eat very little beef, mainly in the form of a steak. I am limited to turkey, chicken and fish. I also try to balance it with vegetables, but I limit myself to a select few. Peas, carrots, broccoli and potatoes mostly. Eggs for protein. Honestly, it hasn't improved my figure (probably because of the other garbage I still shovel in my mouth, like candy, popcorn and milkshakes) but at the risk of sounding gross, my trips to the bathroom are more pleasant.

No joke, I discovered earlier this year that that last part is the reason I cannot eat bagged salad mix, I have to buy the head of lettuce and other things and make it myself. Can't take the shortcut. My body hates bagged vegetable mixes

Yeah, when I was younger I was like a garbage disposal, I could eat anything. The last 10 years or so, I've had to become selective about what I eat, my digestive system is more sensitive. Not sure if it's just with age, or because I stressed it out too much with my horrible diet earlier in life, but now there are some things that just straight up make me sick, and other things I can only eat if prepared a certain way.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I quit eating fried pork a couple of years ago. That's pretty much me with preservatives. which is funny because I really haven't eaten horribly my whole life and I'm 24. On a different note. Last night I made some homemade strawberry lemonade. Bought the lemons and Strawberries and everything. It's not bad! But i think I put a bit too many strawberries and water in, the lemon needs to be stronger

My own idea. It turned out OK, but it needed some more room for sauce. I tried the chicken in fajitas tonight, and it tasted much better

Did 2 new things today.
First up, made some slow smoked pork chops, and turned them into toasted sandwiches. They were fantastic!
And then I made an orange cream donut milkshake (yes, a full cream filled donut went into that0
