I dunno if he supposed to be or not...but in your pics both Scorpie and Blackout are gold...maybe the flash your using?? I like the addition of the "4500X" bit.

They aren't gold, it's the flash. Here's a better pic and a link to my photobucket site.

Got some better pics since the lighting made some of the originals look gold.

No, he's not gold at all. Never was. That's the lighting making him look gold in the first set of pics.

BTW, ya'll actually want a GOLD one???

Good job on the paint. Looks cool. Now, if you really want to sell it, you make us a LEADER CLASS version that's more movie accurate. Go on. do it.

Why we want gold? Because it looks awesome, like those ancient tranformers statues, or that one G1 episode, Golden Lagoon, or somethin' like that.

Mostly cause it's cool.

About 4 days left on the auction. Hopefully, I'll have another custom to go up around the time it ends.

It'll go higher. It has a few ppl watching it so I'm hoping it jumps on the last day. It's up to about $8.50 now. Yes, I'm bummed it isn't higher at the moment. Jin's jumped to $50 within it's first few hours of being listed but Jin is a more well known customizer and I'm still trying to get recognition.

Is the music playing in the background of my auction for anyone? It's not playing for me now. I wonder if Ebay took it out?

I dunno about the music, my speakers aren't plugged in.

I was really confused by the first couple of gold pics. How the hell did that happen? 'Cause I could understand it if everything had a yellowish shade, but the cloth it's standing on is just grey.

Hopefully you'll get the coveted last-minute bidding war; as you say, there's still a day to go. What did you ask as a starting bid? A lot of people put things up at 99 cents, or even one cent, expecting their lot to go through the roof. But the lower the starting price is, the longer it takes to get up to a decent price; if you'd put up a starting price of ten or fifteen dollars, you'd probably actually be higher by now, and at least not making a loss.

Nicely done. I'm glad to see you getting some action on your auction.
But I have to be true to my grumpy-old self and offer some unsolicited advice for your next project. If you want some nice, neat lettering without all the hassle of doing it by hand, pick up a sheet of rub-on letters from your nearest stationary section. They take some practice, but they look great. Just be sure to put a clear varnish over them or they come right back off.

Thanks for the info, Tom! I'll try that.

And Ramrider, I started it out at $0.99 to try to get ppl's attention. I'm really starting to believe the pics that make him look gold are what's holding the auction down. If I don't see some serious changes in price later tonight, I'm taking it down and reposting it with no gold-looking pics. And the cloth in the background is actually blue. Freakin' lighting!
