You argue for the toy as being great and make negative comments about other toys out the other side of your mouth.
Autobot032 wrote:[Remember when $80.00 got you the figures that truly were ultimate? I mean they actually did wow you, their gimmicks were cool and they didn't really give you buyer's remorse. (or if they did, it quickly passed)
Look at Fortress Maximus for example. Yes, his main gimmick was his size (granted, that's generally a worthless gimmick, but on Max...it works. Well.) but he had so many other features.
A working elevator.
A working jail cell.
A double HeadMaster.
A city mode.
A robot mode.
A battle station mode.
A duo of autonomous security vehicles that combine into one larger robot companion.
Etc.
That for $80.00? I'm sold! Electronics or not.
Ultimate Bumblebee for $80.00? Not only am I not sold, I will laugh. Heartily at the price and then walk away.
There is nothing ultimate about him.

mpchi wrote:Can't speak for others, but I don't find myself dislike Ultimate BB just for the sake of hating it. Don't really find enjoyment there. Just thought it could have been so much better for the price its asking for. While there are times that I would pay big bucks for certain toys, they at least excels in some things that makes the toy cool and worthwhile (regardless not necessary good bang for the buck). But Ultimate BB falls short in so many ways that it doesn't excel in anything other than the size and electronics. And to be honest, how many of us really try to look for killer electronics that sing songs and have move around in a TF? If I just want a huge toy for display, I'll just get a Jumbo Grade Gundam/Zaku or something.
Really, nothing Ultimate about this 'Ultimate' Bumblebee. The $10 deluxe on the other hand is a very nice toy. Even if its comes in for free, I would pick the Deluxe over this Ultimate. That tells how great this Ultimate is to me.
Aluus wrote:I really want to see a full blown seibertron.com gallery of this guy. simple fact is that most of us have only seen him IN package and ANYONE who's ever bought a transformer should know that they are not always packaged transformed correctly. you can LOOK at his chest and see that it is more than one big chunk of plastic. don't believe me? check the http://www.hlj.com banner that's usually at the top right corner of this site. you can see the lines, see that the chest is not fully transformed.

A Hasbro representative stated that the windows are not clear so they can hide all of the electronic junk that is inside the car.
Aluus wrote:I know it may be asking a lot, but any chance you can post a pic of his chest properly transformed? A lot of us have never actually seen what it's supposed to look like
mineralblue wrote:Plus, my wife gave him to me as part of my birthday gift.
Barrelass wrote:I knew what I was getting when I bought it, a big statue. But I like his gurth. I am happy enough with it. $80 was a touch much, but I am happy enough. I think I would have held off had I not found it in the middle of the great transformers drought of 07.
