Good info... I wonder what happens with the Takara version. A32, sacrificing to the TF gods??? Wonder what other gems MP SS has.

Good info... I wonder what happens with the Takara version. A32, sacrificing to the TF gods??? Wonder what other gems MP SS has.

I dunno, but I think it was really stupid of them to cover the nosecone in silver paint. I mean...what the heck? He's almost 'toon accurate, except for the 'cone. (The weathering wasn't worth mentioning)

I still can't wait to see if some makes a Coronation kit for this badboy.

However, since we saw the ports on his shoulders and head, there's been speculation left and right. Now that we have three different versions of the mold...it's about time to create that crown and cape kit.

Never mind the nosecone, what bugs me no end is the upside down decepticon insignia on the wings in robot mode. I wouldn't care a bit if the were the other way in plane mode, as long as they were the right way up in the mode everyone will display the figure in.

Yup, I would have been upset if they were not upside down.

I'm not obsessed with cartoon accuracy. Close enough is good enough in that respect and I just think upside down insignia look silly. I mean, if you saw someone with a comppany shirt with the company's logo upside down you'd say wtf, right? I would.

yeah but that's a shirt that a "Person" would wear, this is a "robot", whose insignia is kept the correct way in jet mode, to give the appeareance of an actual jet.. but in transformation the upsidedown symbols just accentuates the fact that the body in botmode is all upside down from the jet.. it's just right that way...

I like the blue Nose cone, I liked the weathering on the guns.. the back end.. mehh.. but I wonder..???

is the Takara one gonna have the blue nose cone, and the weathering missing??


I would love to get a coronation outfit.. that would be sweet.. maybe someone can cast them in plastic as they did the Prime Saber for the Movie Prime?? That would be cool.. I hear those sabers are now on sale for like 12.00!! I'm soooo buying one!!

Also if they do the coronation outfit, I will be going bonkers for it!! just imagine a display set up of Starscream in coronation gear on my shelf!! high above all others with an arm outstretched in pose as if he was giving his speech!!

alcohol used gently usually removes Hasbros "weathering" pretty easily.

A coronation kit huh? That'd be pretty easy to make and mold. If I can ever find one of these bad boys of my own I can measure it then I'd have no problem making a kit for him. It'd be pretty easy actually, a lot smaller then the jobs and molds I usually make.

Would people mind if the crown were made out of acrylic plastic resin?

It'd be easy. If I can find my own SS I'll make one and take some pics, if anyones seriously interested it would be easy enough to mold it and make copies.

I just got the US MP screamer and he is awesome. The nosecone not being blue? Who the hell cares?

Same here. I love it inverse and I always draw his insignia inverse. Kinda like a subfaction symbol of the decepticons.

How did they clean it because I mgiht want to do that.

Everytime I see a pic of this MP Starscream, I can't help but notice he needs a lot more grey and a lot less white. Cool about the nosecone. I'd like to see Coronation Gear.

I just got mine yesterday, and damn is it excellent. Naturally, it's a masterpiece figure, but this one has SS captured in the perfect fashion. Top of the line.

I agree, i too got mine yesterday hehe. He is definitely going on my top shelf. (literally as i have no space left int he display cabinet)

Got one (actually 3) today. Not impressed. Might be one of those cases where his rarity marks him up a la 08 bb.

I guess he gets points for the painted stripes and insignias (especially the crown lol) but the weathering, poor paint, and tomato soup color just make him seem unfinished. He'll take a lot of work to get clean... maybe then he would look better...

I'm beginning to think they just weathered him so they wouldn't have to paint and clear him.

With the amount of detail they put into Skywarp, this ss is a major let down. 06 puts him to shame, but I guess for 48.88 he's not that bad lol.
