i think you might part right and part wrong, yes the scene was too short, the slow mo matrixy effects were because it "looks cool"... The blurry stuff, well thats because the action sequences, when not is slow mo are happening so fast...
Thats all i can say about that, i mean i thought most action sequences were blurry, this is, like i said... cos its so fast.

Oh, it's just the rubik's cube on my chest.
I thought it was the Allspark.
Whew!
Speaking of rubik's cube... Did you know that they're making a movie out of that too now?
With all these 80's rehashes(IMO none will be better than Transformers and thats saying alot) I want a My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake.
No I am not kidding.
Back on topic...
Didn't someone say that Jazz was fixed? Maybe this time around they can give him better characterization. And make him a bit bigger, it bothers me that he's smaller than Bumblebee. who the hell names themselves bumblebee?

Was a piece of the all spark, or megatron himself?
Allspark...

It sucks Jazz got his ass kicked by Megatron so badly, I hope he does come back for the sequal. 20 years absent and he returns to get killed.

At least he went out like a brave warrior spouting off crap as he was destroyed, not like a cowering baby...
Megatron was just without mercy is all...

That really fit the characteristics well... Jazz is no pushover. And neither is Megatron.

He may have swallowed a rat.

Uh... will Hasbro release a special edition Rubik's cube with Allspark design?
Just wondering.
He did sound a bit deep. The game version of his voice was much better.

Well, don't count on Ratchet fixing him or his voice. We saw how hard it was to give 'bee his voice back, imagine Ratchet trying to repair a whole robot, hahaha.briggs wrote:Auto Bot wrote:They need to fix his VOICE first, before bringing him into life.

...I do wish Jazz would come back, though. I mean, if anything, they could have shown Ratchet reviving him while Jazz continued to talk crap about Megatron.

wiki
According to the wiki, Jazz could very well be back for the sequel with G1 color scheme and a new beefier body!
However, a new released Jazz toy from Hasbro and Target with the G1 colors, has a description on Jazz's possible future: "During the long process of being rebuilt by AUTOBOT RATCHET, there was a lot of time to think. AUTOBOT JAZZ digs his Earth vehicle form, but the silver paint job had always left something to be desired. It got scratched too easily, for one thing, and dust stuck to it like cyberflies on old oil. Also, it wasn't nearly eye-catching enough. Just because he's supposed to be in disguise doesn't mean he can't be noticed. With help from BUMBLEBEE and AUTOBOT RATCHET, he picked this color scheme as the one most likely to get him appreciative looks from all the humans he passes on the freeway."
In a recent interview, the movie staff tell of a rumor that Jazz will be rebuilt in the possible sequel as a tougher frame. Maintaining the movie look, but with a different color scheme and slight modifications. It is suspected that his restoration is possible with the fragment of Allspark found in Megatron's chest once he is killed.

do you have a link to the interview?
if thats true, then im all for it. bring him back, but if thats the only reason for the allspark piece..well, i would want it to be for something a bit more interesting and more in the plot.

i don't
i don't have a link to the interview but that is the quote from the wikipedia page. Now I know wiki can be wrong, but the fact that Hasbro wrote some story on a G1 colored pontiac solstice may mean jazz is to return. Also for the fact Jazz has appeared in every single carnation of transformers, and also been a relativley main player. I mean the dude even survived the famous transformer purge in the 86 movie!!!!

Actually, we have not seen a 'Jazz' in any of the last 6 U.S. series, BW, BM, RID, Armada, Energon, or Cybertron. The only one I can remember is a Spychanger, Alternators, world's smallest, and a TRU Re-issue any time recently...
The galleries here would seem to support that.
