So I got Commander Rodimus today, how long should I leave the trailer open and loose for the plastic to "correct" itself? I already tried closing the trailer and it wouldn't stay together at all. There's also quite a bit of loud plastic snapping moving the back section and ramp around.

I left mine closed overnight after I first opened it and that seemed to help. Getting it to completely close was the tricky part. When closing it, make sure the grey parts are snapped into the sides. This will probably still leave a gap at the top when you try to close it. Once I got it that far, I used both hands to hold it closed at the top. After holding it that way for about a minute, I let go and it stayed in place. Then I left it overnight. Now I can get it to close pretty easily. Bumping it does sometimes make the gaps re-appear, but it can be easily closed again.

So confused by that Galvatron tbh. He didn’t really look like that at all during the reformation scene? If that’s what they’re going for, they should have gone the route of the RED Megatron figure, or once again use the Siege Mold to show this.

I understand the original toy version Galvatron for Selects, but yeah the reformatting one is puzzling. I know they want to try to get their moneys worth out of each mold, but then again, there still hasn't been a reuse of Siege/ER Astrotrain or ER Doubledealer yet.

A waste because I'd buy a Select Astrotrain in NASA colors and Doubledealer could be easily repaint/remold into MW Soundwave.

This guy is onto something! For real, I’m such a fan of the Micromaster Space Shuttle duo, a much larger version would be fantastic. I’m not a huge fan of corporate logos on TFs but I’d make any exception for NASA.

Well now that we have Victory Saber, maybe we can have Galaxy Shuttle...someday
. It would have to be roughly CC at least though, a reuse of Astrotrain wouldn't work. I believe there are a couple of other deep cut characters that might work for Astrotain.
As for Doubledealer...I know a LOT of people have been wanting MW Soundwave, which makes sense. I'd just want a Takara toy colored Doubleclouder (Interestingly in the Masterforce Anime he is colored to match the Hasbro Doubledealer instead), so "Toy Accurate Doubleclouder" would be my first choice for that mold.

Looking at "Puffer" more closely, the helmet is Pipes, but the face isn't.... in a sense. Most headsculpts are actually made of two pieces, so it could very be that they made two faces; one for Pipes and the other for... whoever. It's worth noting the "Puffer" one is toy-accurate with the visor and mouthplate:

Transformers G1 1986 Pipes Gallery
... and we can expect retail Pipes to have a show-accurate one... while the alternate face/head of Huffer can be used for Road Ranger

Picked up Red Alert to replace the awful Siege version. Not sure wether to to give hims sieges wheels for his shoulders or just to sell the siege one on and make some smalller dummy wheels. Kingdoms matching whites make him look a lot better but it still neded to have some engineering to fold away the huge rectangle on his back. at least I have a Red alert that for the most part doesnt need to hide behind other figures now. Shame the earthmode doesnt correct more of the figure and yet again I'll be skipping sideswipe.

Saw an image on instagram of the fossilizer combiner using ractonite and transmutate and it just didn't look as good imo. Even though I think tricranius looks better than ractonite, I already have wingfinger and paleotrex so I canceled tricranius to get a better looking combiner
And since ractonite is on sale on tfsource and ill get free shipping, I'm saving $15 more or less

I was finally able to find the wave 3 Deluxes at Target a couple weeks ago. Once again, having Tracks in hand, I think it's a very good figure, like Huffer, that some fans are just too critical of. Is he worth of the "Mini-Masterpiece" monicker? No, but he's not a terrible figure either. He's a good, modern, faithful G1 update that matches well with the rest of the War for Cybertron trilogy. The leg transformation isn't that hard at all when you understand what to do. As usual, the instructions aren't very helpful, but there are plenty of demonstrations of the transformation available on YouTube. The way the feet are attached for robot mode isn't ideal, but it's not a deal breaker either. You can work with it. The leg joints are a little loose and fiddly, but that could be down to quality control. My only major gripe with the figure is that it could have used some more paint apps. Kingdom Tracks is missing a LOT of the little sticker details from the G1 toy that were included in the Sunbow cartoon model. It makes him look kinda plain and unfinished in a way. I hope we get a more "Premium Finish" of this mold at some point. I'd be happy to double dip if it meant a much more screen accurate Tracks from this mold.

You beat me to it. As a big Uprising fan, Star Dasher was first thing I thought of.
Also with Tracks, I dont see how anyone could get the legs/shins to lock in without mods. I love Tracks and forgive a lot to have a good figure of him, but this one just slips by to fairly good for me. Way too much clear plastic( wish they wouldnt use it and just paint on windows, nothing I want to see inside anyway)and Im scared to break it, not enough paint(Reprolabels gets my money again) and too lose/floppy.
New Red Alert is awesome though and quite an improvement.

Found this at my local hobby store where i get most of my transformers these days. from Zoids: Wild
(I would have preferred a Liger model but they're not available) A Rapterrix to be specific which is a velociraptor model. I ditched the pilot figure and didn't like the "dinosaurs have hair feathers" so he doesn't have the spiky headcrest.
Part of why i bought him since it fits the range of transformers kingdom toys i've purchased throughout the year.
Here is my new Rapterrix compared to Deluxe Grimlock (CV Spark Armor) Kingdom Paleotrex and Siege Prime in terms of size. Rapterrix is the black and red toy.

To catch up:
Puffer: that head is the head that Pipes should have had, paint or molding wise. That is a great looking head.
Galvatron: that is a neat look for him, not something I will get, but it is neat.
Now for some other stuff:
I think we all need reminded just how nice T-Wrecks looks

Nemesis Primal has really proven to be the star of the Worlds Collide set for me. This is a surprisingly slick repaint

I really think this mold should have stayed cliff's mold. As a Bumblebee, it is OK, but it doesn't feel right. That Origins Bee is definitely the superior Bumblebee for me

I'll hopefully have thoughts on Scorpy and Wingfinger soon. just got them this weekend. I am excited for Wingfinger, he seems really neat so far. and thanks to them, I am done with Wave 3!

Hmmm, an OCD dilemma. Easy to do and cleans up the gap, but at the risk of creating stress marks.

Well, with the leak for Slammer, I think that's all of Wave 4 leaked... I will say, he is actually rather neat. I'm getting Animated Autotrooper vibes from him. I'll definitely pick up 1, maybe 2 or 3

First Look at Transformers Kingdom Deluxe Slammer
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Fellow Seibertronian Sentinel_Primal posted an image they found online giving us our very first look at Transformers Kingdom deluxe Slammer. This does indeed seem to be a completely new mold. It also looks like a weaponizer, which was the gimmick of the Siege line. While this toy (and the entirety of wave 4) has yet to be revealed, these will be appearing at retail in the next few months. With this photo, we now know what all the toys in wave 4 look like. For a quick recap, that wave includes deluxe Waspinator, Shadow Panther, Slammer and Pipes along with voyager Tigatron.
