I need Energon rumors and gossip.
Does anyone know when or if there will be a collected set of Energon DVSs out? I don't mean those out-of-order collections they have out now, but a complete collection like they have of Armada. Anyone?

Nope, no rumours or plans are know as yet. Paramount own the distribution rights to both the Energon and Cybertron series, and have not released any new DVD's for either series in over a year.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

And with it being a Paramount distributed/financed film, you would have thought so.

Well the only 2 DVD's to get a Region 4 release are:
The Battle for Energon and The Return of Megatron. Both contain 4 episodes, and the two run back to back for the first 8 episodes.
Amazon has 2 more Energon DVD's listed;
Omega Supreme contains Episodes 34-37
Shockblast Unleashed contains Episodes 21,25,26 and 28
So Nothing close to a complete series, or even a run, as the whole second half of the first season is skipped, as is the second half of the second season.

Okay, nice rundown. Thanks. I think I'm going to just hold out for a future, complete release. At least you all down there get the upcoming Japanese Series DVD release. I bought an older release of Victory off eBay a while back, but there's absolutley no English on it at all.
Oh, how I suffer...

We are getting Headmasters with Victory and MAsterforce on their way as well.
No mention of the later Japanese made series (Car Robots, Micron Legend, Superlink) and I doubt we will for quite some time due to other companies owning the distribution rights to the Dubbed versions.

Are those just with English subtitles, or will there be professional dubbing as well?
Can't tell you 100% either way to be honest.
