MOTU

Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

After checking to see if any more wind damage this morning after waking up to the gate on the floor, found a very soggy amazon parcel of my stranger things skeletor pack with box damage. But it's totally cool, totally fine.

Hoping they don't do that to the cartoon classics lot

So the Fright Zone was removed from the calendar, theory is that it was meant to be for July. Just another screwup for the Freight Zone, nothing new there.

Amazon delivered in a big paper bag and left outside (fortunately no rain) one crumpled card Frosta and invisible skeletor (along with a marvel legends gaurdian). Managed to get Catra ordered for under RRP from amazon too, she doubled in price when amazon ran out of their over priced listings.
Probably opening the catoon she-ra figures so that the castle has some one to live in it other than Mr T

Battle for Etermia set is on its way to me and then the oother Origins creations figure soon. Kind of convinced myslf the motu thundercats need their lair to live in :/

People are point this line out because it does appear to be a mass retail release.

During this member shopping window, this item may also be available at other retailers.

If it ends up on BBTS at the same time for the same price I'll get it there for the $4 shipping. Not thrilled with the price. I get that even if it's sold at other retailers it's still definitely being sold at smaller numbers, but this is still a lot for something half the size of the other two playsets.

Yeagh but if it's £130 here at retailers like the one site has posted it for, I'll be likely just ordering two straight from mattel. our major toy store has not had anything since Modulok that they deep discounted at random.

Barbie is still on route but Sharellas arrived today. Dang that was stupid quick.

Three fright zones ordered, was a faff on my phone but not waiting to see if other websites had them available. Between that and m.a.s.k I'm done. Might even pass on the sdcc skeletor shredder but who am I kidding

Ended up ordering one on BBTS. Same price and only $4 to ship.

On the fence about the MASK set, I'd save $35 over the retail price if I bundle them at BBTS and that would make the Scott and TBOB only $15 more instead of $50!

Rhino sdcc was pretty decent priced over here bar a few sites, mine was around £100 which isn't bad if $175 is the price state side and that it was already selling out on websites here for £140. If they do an optimus repaint down the line I would cave be it g2 or bay.

£9 shipping for the fright zones is pretty much unbeatable. It wasn't available on the UK site which seems to have been a temporary tariff buster rather than a site that is constant in stock. I'll use one for the cartoon dnd figures display. I need to order the motu origins conan style figures at some point but still a few sdcc exclusives I'm after, mainly the ecto glow ghostbusters.

Got an order put in for skeleshreddor, the repaint castle grayskull could have done with retooling but I will still be buying it (I refuse to pay more than the castle costs on the secrets of Grayskull set). I still like the cheap fortnite pack as my space suits.

Sdcc and the 200x masterverse reveals is not what I wanted to see, going to have to get them all rather than previously being picky over the masterverse stuff.

the wait is almost over but is it worth $300

https://toynewsi.com/241-59141

snake lair crowd fund.
very toyish, not a bad thing for me but not so sure if needed and that's from some one buying 90% of what is available

unlocks
lady slither (painted bones...probably not to hard to use a skele wariiors parts but then again snakes and bones)
high priest looks great
steed...liking it and it has to be reached for the price of the crowd fund imho but not sure it has a wow factor

I'm passing on the prototype Castle Grayskull because of the Snake Lair, but I might pick it up if it goes on sale (not that I know where to put it). It isn't very essential to me and I feel like Amazon will dump the price not long after release like they did the TMNT Technodrome. BTW, the space suits aren't the same, they have different limbs for some reason.

Did order the Sketchbook Sy-Clone and pre-ordered Sketchbook Spikor plus the Transformers crossovers at Target because I had a 15% off my cart coupon.

I discovered that you can not cancel an order when placed on mattel so i couldnt maximise my spends for the postage. Would have ordred at least one TF and one thundercat but hey ho. shredders now dispatched and arriving on his lonesome.

Picked up Slaker and bop steady, just got to find mouser jaw and Krang at a decent price and then Mer-man will be the last figure to complete the tmnt run.

I'll pick proto castle up, to me it pairs with the snake lair for a preternia display.

So they changed things up overnight with the Snake Lair crowd fund. Chimera and the accessories are now included (can you believe the accessories were nearly a stretch goal!?), the Priest is at 8,000 backers and Lady Slither is now only for backers before 8/14. Chimera is still listed as a stretch goal even though the goal is the minimum requirement for the whole thing. I feel like they learned nothing from the Eternia campaign, by making Slither only for early backers, it pretty much guarantees people will stop backing after 8/14 like before.

That said, got my Shredator yesterday. It's only my third figure from the line (after King Hiss and Sla'ker), but it looked so good I couldn't help it.

Yeagh it seems a bit of a mess but at least they partially changed it :/ I recently got the snake tail shredder and it's s bit crap but I like the gauntlets colour better than on the exclusive. My slacker should have arrived today.

If I missed on the chimera I'd likely be very reluctant to back it. A website over here has the 'ot lords of ppwer' line that I can't remeber name of dragons at £85 upwards each but they are god designs being able to swith between figure/mount modes
