Ugh, I can't watch it cuz my Youtube is ****. It keeps buffering every 2 seconds...

I have a thing for Chris Volz. He's been in two bands, and they're both fabulous. Were fabulous. Apparently he's the kiss of death. Or I am--everything I adore withers swiftly on the vine.

FLAW had two albums--Through The Eyes is a dead on winner, Endangered Species is very good, but you can start seeing the rift develop.

Then he went on for one album with a group Five.Bolt.Main, also awesome.

Both bands had lots of vocal harmonies, complex bass lines, and really intricate drumwork. The kind of stuff you need a Bose system to really enjoy. Wish I had one....

You MUST hunt them down. "Bid Farewell" is one of my alltime favorite songs. I believe they have a myspace page.

The rest of Flaw has released at least one demo as Black Market Hero. Not bad--though the new singer does insist on doing some of that extremely silly Cookie Monster death metal 'singing' from time to time.

Motley Crue, Poison, Skid Row, Cinderella, Faster Pussycat, Shotgun Messiah, Quiet Riot, RATT, W.A.S.P., Warrant, Britny Fox, Bad English and LA Guns.

Bands like those. Its one of my favorite genres

I listen to GNR and I know they're a hair metal band and so is hair metal rock ballads? Cuz that's what GNR sometimes makes.

what's wrong with coldplay? Chris Martin has a great voice maybe not dancing skills if you see a concert but their songs are great. If you think they suck watch the grammys; they did quite well and have a huge fan base Metal is really only good for getting rid of unwanted ear wax

Not a whole lot of love for Punk here huh? I'll admit, alot of metal really sounds great and all, but something about the attitude often rubs me the wrong way. Like Van Halen. Their amazing musicians, but they come across as a little to aware of it.

The only punk I really like is horror punk, like The Misfits, Blitzkid, Creepshow 1977, Michale Graves, and the Punk Rods.

I don't know if you count horror punk, but I do. I'm just not big on "let's try to be the worst sounding band possible, but yet hopefully we'll tear down the government!" kinda bands.

Eh, horror punk is punk. Just with horror elements. I'll admit, I'm still new to the whole punk thing in general. I grew up listening to jazz.

Not really a fan of jazz personally, but I do have a lot of respect for jazz musicians.

Yeah, some of the stuff they do is just incredible. My parents lived out in the West Coast for awhile, and got into the Jazz scene in Oregon. So I grew up with Tom Grant, Winston Marsales, George Benson, and *Shudders* Kenny G. Started getting into rock in highschool, espesially alternative. Of course, I've always loved film scores as well. John Williams is amazing, as is Hans Zimmer.

Early ninties, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, Primus, etc.

i dont have a favorite band i go through phases of listing to a certin band for a long time, right now its disturbed, before that is was depchmode and before that was type o negative

next, i see nirvana commin around for a little while...

Journey, Foreigner, Survivor, Heart, Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Elton John, Genesis, Phil Collins, Elvis Presley, Sugar Ray, Linkin Park, AC-DC, Nirvana, Nickelback... there's others I'm sure that I like, but can't name them offhand.
