Okay, First off, I know they are two DIFFERENT Scores, but, I mean, COME ON! I was watching Inception and thought, "Wow, this sounds familiar.
A couple minutes on youtube, and this is what I got:
INCEPTION:

DOTM:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nff3Bj09glk
They do more than resemble eachother, and While I like the Transformers Version MUCH Better, they are pretty much the same thing. Id'e go so far as to say Steve Joblonsky Copied Zack Hemsey in this.
What do you think?

Re: One Score, two films
Actually, Zack Hemsey isn't the composer to Inception score. Hans Zimmer is. Hans Zimmer also helped produced/composed the music along with Lincoln Park on Dark of the Moon. When the Dark of the Moon ost originally came out, I instantly picked up Hans Zimmer-ness off of the score. I thought it was brilliant, bringing in two big composers for one soundtrack. I love both composers for their individual styles and I thought it was amazing that they finally worked on a project together of series that I love to death. But Hans Zimmer has every right to use something he's done in the past of his own to make it for another movie. It's his music. He's a genius.

Mind Heist by Zack Hemsey was used only in the main trailer for Inception, not the actual movie. It's Our Fight on the DOTM score is extremely similar, though. I also thought that the DOTM track Lost Signal was sort of similar sounding to some of the tracks on the actual Inception score.
