Knowing Bay's previous record my best guess is that the "Mustachio" is really Wreck-Gar

After all the visuals look like a pile of Junk

and the mustache and brownish orangish goldish color, and all the buzzsaws in his eyeball....

No doubt the 'bot at the end was Alpha Trion. :-B

Looks better as an old fart like that Uguay character from Kung-Fu Panda and colored maroon/cobalt. :lol:

He has an interesting design, however. Can't wait to see more of DOTM. And it's only 30 days before from my birthday too! :lol:

The more I watch this, the more I think that the ship is full of Scourge clones (Sweeps). The gold one at the end is Scourge. And the fly through his eye is a hint. As the camera pans through the misc stuff transforming, it stops at what looks like another eye. But if you notice, it kinda looks like Unicron in planet mode - jagged teeth, maw and gold ring around it.

A hint that Unicron is coming after his heralds...

Maybe I'm looking at it too closely, but one possibility.

He has blue eyes, so he has to be an Autobot. I also wonder if the ship is the Ark.

I was waiting for a facehugger to jump at the screen throughout the entire thing. The teaser neither makes me dread nor look forward to the movie so is that a good thing or a bad thing? All i want to know is if thats the same ship that was in ROTF and why is Alpha Ttion there?

I think that the deception ship in ROTF was on Mars. Please correct me if I'm wrong tho.

i dont know if any of you guys noticed but one of the NASA officials was shia lebouef's dad in the disney show "even stevens." his name is tom virtue. coincidence shia's "dad" is in the movie? i think not. you get a good look at him at :48 into the teaser and also at :56.

So is everyone agreed that the ship on the Moon is an Autobotship with an Autobot on board?

The wrecked Decepticon ship in ROTF I'm guessing is the ship that brought Megatron to our solar system in the first place, and not the ship that crashed on the moon.

Absolutely 100% agree with SlyTF1.

It HAS to be Sentinel Prime. Like he said, just look at the similarities with the G1 version of Sentinel...and Optimus Prime. The colour, the shape of the head, the mouth, the long wing-like shoulder parts...and the fact that this robot has the same kind of "horns" on the side of his head like Optimus is also a total give-away that this could only be a prime! Speculate all you like, but i think it's pretty damn obvious.

Wreck-Gar? No way in hell, sorry...

Alpha Trion? Not similar enough, except for the moustache.

What I don't understand is why they have all the ships to begin with. I thought Bay said he didn't see the point in "aliens who moonlight as vehicles needing other vehicles to get around" or something like that. On the other hand, wouldn't be the first time a continuity has contradicted itself...

Yes, that was the Nemesis that was parked on Mars in ROTF. What you need to keep in mind is that this is "A" Decepticon ship and not think of it as "THE" Decepticon ship. If Primes crew (and the Nemesis) could make it off Cybertron it stands to reason that so could other craft. Everyone also needs to keep in mind that second guessing which character is which (Sentinel Prime, Alpha Trion, etc...) is absolutely and utterly pointless in Michael Bays TF universe. When you mouse over the picture it indicates that it is Shockwave (at least with my browser) therefore, regardless of how it looks or what anyones previous notions of Shockwave may be, we are not getting our favorite one-eyed, purple, monotoned bad-ass in TF3. The beat-to-hell, almost-Gundam-like bot with the funky coloring may actually be Shockwave.
What disappointed me the most about this trailer is that for a brief moment I thought it was going to tie in with "The Ghosts of Yesterday", the prequel novel to the first TF movie. In a way this new storyline/introduction set in 1969 makes for a sort of blending of elements from "Ghosts" so I'm still excited about it but I thought the novel would have made for a nice stand alone movie.

I'm nowehere near in the series where they even see Alpha Trion, I was referring to this guy in specific, not Autobot/Decepticon facial hair.

Autobot Mustache is just what I refer to this guy as.
He kinda looks like The Last Autobot minus the mustache...
I'd say he looks most like The Last or Sentinel, though I want him to be Alpha more...

This is not Shockwave as we have already seen his head on the end of a big stick during filming.
I know in Bayverse everything is bit all over the place with canon, but how could you even think this was even a deception, never mind Shockwave?
