I found something new!

The Argos at the Metrocenter had ONE Titianium Ultra Magnus.

I bought it.

:D

(PS, is it me or are the knees backwards?)

Great news !

But i can't help getting a little upset. When i was after Rodimus Prime i spent ages going to 4 different Argos stores and they never once had him in stock.

All the same, i know where i'm heading on saturday ;)

Apparently there was one in Reading Tesco (the large one, what are the large ones called? Express? Metro? Turbo?). I didn't pick him up in the end so he may still be there.

Thanks for the tip, although i should have mentioned in my earlier post that i eventually found one at Blackwells a few weeks later.

Wait, Blackwells sell TF's?I've never seen any in Blackwells. Do you mean the one near HMV?

Apart from that Toys R us only has a selection of Cybertron figures that im not really interested in, and a bunch of g1 re-issues.

Does anyone know of any good sites in the uk that sells a wider range of TF's for decent prices? Otherwise i have to buy off ebay which has a very limited range and con artist people charge waaaaaay too much for shipping!

Does anyone cosnider Anime Galvatorn to be worth a purchase? I have the original, but am wondering if the extras on the Anime are worth it. The pastel colour is putting me off.

They have a few Titaniums and statues.
Oh, and they have Classics Prime for £24..... :?

Go in there at least once a week, only things I buy from them are the odd Star Wars bit. Used to spend alot more in there when they sold comics, Escape get my money now tho.

Thanks,

Escape is where I go, though I only buy TF comics so they don't get much of my money.

I bought that Dreamwave Armada holofoil because I was sick of it shining at me every time I went in. I didn't buy any more Armada comics after that...

Classics Prime at £24.00? No, thank you.

I do as I own him and my vintage. The pastel purple is a bit poo but the figure as a whole looks pretty damned good in my opinion. The only extra as I recall is the gold Matrix on a chain which mine is wearing around his neck.

You could always go out and buy the e-hobby release of Galvertron in his original colours with a green matrix. Don't know how much more expensive he'll be though.

Motto: "Better than Michael Bay..."

Has anybody noticed that most TrUs have both the decent 20th prime AND the crappy one on sale, both at the rrp, meaning you can get the one with the right colours for £50, or spend TWENTY POUND MORE and get crappy colours, no chome and a rubbish stand with the janitor pretending to be Prime...

What's that all about?

Hi all! :D

I don't know if this has been reported yet but Woolworths have the Ultra Magnus V Skywarp set in stock now. I picked up one set yesterday. They've been listing them as in stock on their website since last weekend but I waited until they got them in store. Same price of £14.99 in store and online.

I also bought Titanium Soundwave and Rodimus Prime for £14.99 each from Tesco yesterday. These are the first Tf's in ages that my girlfriend thought were smart! She liked them because they're metal and seemed more solid than plastic one's. Interesting to get a non tf collectors' viewpoint now and again. Helps keep things in perspective! (Amongst other things I also bought a Black & Decker hammer drill for £11.97  and a George Foreman Grill for £14.97  at Tesco. Well pleased because they were majorly reduced hence the gf being happy to let me buy all those tf's yesterday though it was an expensive day!).

A mate of mine on the Hub:
http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/post ... id=1876820
reported seeing the Movie Preview figures in Toys'r'us in Cardiff. I work in Toys'r'us in Govan so I'll be in there tomorrow and I'll let you know if they're... well, if they're in Govan as well as Cardiff.

I like him. The purple isn't too light (may just be mine, may just be my colourblindness) although it could be darker. The gold Matrix either hangs around his chest, or Alt Shockwave's, whom it fits surprisingly well. The face resculpt, though subtle, is a vast improvement over the large eyed original. Though I don't know if it's worth a purchase if you have the original Galvy, I wouldn't. But I would pick up this one if it was a choice of the two.

I wish my tesco store would stock up on some TF's! They have had the same deluxe bumblebee and twin battle pack and a bunch of mini cons for months! They never get anything new in! Useless!

As long as you're signed up to the site you should be able to access the Carbombya forum - check the list on the left hand side it should be the fifth one down.

I can highly recommend Timban - he's a great bloke and gets a lot of TFs at good prices.

I also found that Xybertoys crashed. Bugger.

Aaron has been having big problems with his server provider in the US. He has told me that the store is still up and running and the Yanks are trying to fix his server.

Nooooooooooo! I was in Southampton today, to watch the football and my mum wouldn't let me go into the TRU!
P.S. No I am not a 20something year old who still lives and listens to his mum, I'm only 13! :D
P.P.S. Everyone has to feel sorry for me at least till Tuesday as Southampton lost

I'm not all that interested in the movie figures, I think all I'll be getting will be the 2 Optimus Primes and the real gear figures.

I tried Argos yesterday for Titanium Magnus, but all they had was one Soundwave. :(
