It's basically the ODB, but as a whole forum rather than a single thread. Personally, I don't see why us Brits can't have our own form here. It'd certainly help with keeping track of this ruddy thread, and it would probably attract more British/ European traffic.

No, TTT is a site run by Seibs outcasts and ex-staff.

I was in TRU today and they had finished putting up the toys on the pegs but there were a load of boxes on the floor in front of the shelves so I read the top and it said "Leader class Optimus prime"

they were all sealed tight though and i'm not getting any movie figs till after the movie so I left em as they were.

They have in Leader Prime and Megatron as well as some movie tac like toothbrushes, drink bottles ect... Plus an obscene amount of Protoforms! Also went into John Lewis in Reading and they got some TF Movie stuff in there as well as Tit Mags and Megatron.

I got Blackout yesterday. Only have a complaint about the design of the shoulder panels, but otherwise I like him. The dirt others seem so angry at is no worse than the fingerprint smudges on MP03 and there are only one stress mark on him, but that's on the tab that holds the shoulder panel in place so it's hidden from view in both modes. His waist clips hold his torso in place and locked, as long as he doesn't lie down, but even then, his torso doesn't flop all the way back. Also, his main blades do a fair job of giving you a breeze. If only it was as hot as it was.

A hint for those who want TIT Ultra Magnus and Megatron. If you have a local Argos that does not have them in stock. Use there ring and reserve service and you can get them ordered in. Only took mine 5 days and I got them in the half price sale.

Yep, Reading TRU has TF's (Movie, Classics and Cybertron) on the Doctor Who display. Presumably it'll be a full TF display in no time.

Trouble with Argos is, you don't know what they'll pull out for ya. You might ring and reserve expecting Magnus, and you get nappywave. That's why I try to avoid Argos for assortments. Too much hassle.

I just walk into Argos when I'm near one, see if there's any in stock, and ask for a viewing. If I find one, great. If I don't, well, there's always tomorrow right?

Manchester TRU is still setting up its display (all the toys are in place but the decoration isn't. Forbidden Planet also has movie figures in, European versions so at normal prices (also had Classics Cliffjumper and Mirage).

Having no spare money is truely sucking at the moment.

Nah it wasnt like that, it was just funny when she said, 'I damn well KNEW you would go for that one'... lol.

Yeah Royal Prime, argus sucks donkey ones. But whilst Argos are still often the first (and in the case of my town) only place to get tfs, I'm gonna have to suck it and go there.

I love the Argos' by me. I just walked into one today and bought Titanium UM within 5 minutes. And I also had a lovely chat with the cure girl who served me for my viewing and then moved over to be my cashier. We talked about the movie mostly.

I was going in to Woolworths a short while before, and I swear a guy who looked just like Alex Kingdom walked past with what looked like 4 Movie Voyagers and the CL UM & SW two-pack...

Argos
Why can't Argos get anything right...usually the images in the catalogue are wrong, they don't tell exactly what they have in stock...we have to wait in line to find out.
It seems like all the Argos stores decide to hire bad managers and bad staff (they are dumb, rude and usually ugly)...it could me a gimic or theme. Whatever the reason, Argos is naff...end of.

The Entertainer
The Entertainer seems to be really cheap, this makes me think that all the goods are stolen. However its a very good shop!

Toys'R'Us
TRU are usually the most expensive of the bunch but always reliable. But i always feel like im being watched in TRU.

Woolworths
Woolies are the middle of the pack, good prices, good locations and good selection. But does anyone else notice the lingering smell of sick in most woolies?

Sorry for the rant, have i missed anyone out?

Yeah Woolworths does smell of sick sometimes! Also I always seem to walk into someones fart around the DVD Section!

The Reason The Entertainer is so cheap is because the guy who owns the chain of shops is a bible thumber and wants kids to play with good heaven sent cheat toys! Does not stock the nastry evil Harry Potter toys and stuff coz Harry is a evil devil worshiper.

The day I ordered my Titaniums I had been to Argos and on viewing they had 1 Rodimus. I went home rang up the reserve line and ordered two tits. They came five days later. No problem. I did not even take the order number in I just went for a viewing of stock as they had ordered in 8 and there they were. UM and Megs for £7.49 a piece. Thats the way I like my stores to be. Ordered in stock when I wanted it.

lol The funny thing is some guy was walking around Woolies today farting really loudly :P

I've always found The Entertainer to be the most expensive. Voyagers from the entertainer cost me £25, when I could quite easily walk into Woolies and pay £20.
TRU seems to dislike sales, and putting discounts on tfs. I don't mind though, cos TRU always has some delightful gem for me to purchase! 8)

When you go to Argos for a viewing, and they bring one out, can you just keep sending the people into the back until they pull out the one you want? Because I would feel like a complete dick if I did that to the guy.

£25 for a voyager? Blackout was £22.99 from FP (they had none in woolies). A shop sells tf's at a higher price than FP? Wonders never cease.

You just ask for all variations of that item number. The person on the desk will phone the stock room up and get them all sent up. I've done this loads of times and if there is nothing I want oppologised, and they have oppologised back, and I have left the store empty haneded. Its not a problem as they get this type of thing all the time with toys because a lot of them are multiple characters on one number.
