Hello, I tried searching for this but couldn't find anything.......When BB shined the light in the sky and the other Autobots came flying to earth, where did they come from?

If I remember correctly, according to the original story the Transformers came to Earth thousands of years before the present day and remained in a hibernated state and then woke up and modified themselves into cars, planes, etc? According to the narrative by Optimus Prime in the beginning, Cybertron was destroyed and all of the Transformers were scattered throughout the universe. We know there were Transformers on Mars, but was it just Deceptcons? Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks!

You got a point there. I assume they were searching nearby systems for Megatron and the Allspark. When Bumblebee found out that they are on Earth he sends a message to them, the nearby Autobots then respond and travel to Earth. This is just my speculation though.

A spaceship would be needed for this..., it could explain some things..., let's see if Bay hears us and shows one in the sequel...
