20th Prime, 50 good price

Postby Joshkj » Thu Aug 16, 2007 12:37 am

Being a new collecter im jumping on everything I can, and the fact that I just moved is making it harder for me to know where to look. Well I hit my new local walmart and found the 20th, it was 50 so was that a good price?

Also they had the classics prime and alot others(mirage, gimlock, and 1 more), are they worth picking up (o and the prime and meg 2 pack)?

I also nabed a voyager meg that i will gladly trade :)

$50 for any version of 20th Anniversary/Masterpiece Optimus Prime is worth it. Also all of the Classic Transformers are worth picking up in my opinion.

QFT, $50 is a good price for 20th Prime, and even the DVD version.
Garb every classics figure you can, Mirage is the best of the bunch you saw.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I think it may have bee Cybertron Beast Prime (Brown and Tan Monkey with a surfboard) and Megatron (Green T-rex)

Both are good figures, I personally consider Cybertron Beast Megatron a must buy if you missed the BEast Wars 10th version of the figure. Prime is nice and everything, but is nothing compared to Megatron.

Grab yourself a Classics Jetfire if you can afford him, one of the best figures made in recent memory, and you will be hard pressed to find anyone that truly dislikes the figure.

I saw a Classics Jetfire at TRU this morning, but passed on him... in robot form, I actually like the Titanium figure better. Something about the wide shoulders and narrow waist.. it just looks more cool to me.

$50.00 dollars is a sweet deal compared to how much he goes for in the Walmart close to me. There he goes for $69.99.
