25th Anniversary G.I. Joe Vehicles
Re: 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe Vehicles
Some good news regarding the "cancelled' vehicles. We'll be getting them in April.

I thought the Sky Hawk was in wave 4 alongside the Water Moccasin.

Sure is. It's just that this case contains it too.
I was fearing I'd have to buy a vintage FLACK cannon and Stinger off eBay, but it appears not. So yay to that.
I still think it's a shame the STUN never got reissued though. There's lots of ways they could improve on that one.

Well at my Target they had all four vehicles this is after being told by someone in the same store months ago that they probably didn't have them. I have to remember that the stores by me won't re-stock unless there are bare shelves. So, does the Python Viper come with the new arms of the 5-pack or the single carded kind?

There's always hope that it might show up in the movie line... as long as you're willing to accept the colours!

Didn't they flip on that and it's coming in a revision case?

Maybe, not sure. Even if it was coming out, they'd probably rename it and I wouldn't have recognized the name!

I hate it when they do that. I get excited thinking that we're getting new vehicles and it ends up being something old the the Water Moc and that hover thingie whos name I can't remember now that I have the Sky Patrol version of becaus I dig shinny things.

Re: 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe Vehicles
I've been looking at these toys at Walmart for a few weeks now. They had no sign of G.I. Joe vehicles until then. I don't know the names, it's been way too many years since I had the originals but I really wanted to dune buggy one. I hate how it is now brown instead of green but it brings back fond memories. Now if only Walmart would stock toys that weren't visibly destroyed in package.
I always wanted to get the hummer. I think it was called the Hammer or something like that. I wish they'd do that but I doubt it since this new wave was barely released.

You're thinking of the AWE Striker. The green version was a Target exclusive.

Well, they're making a new Hummer for the movie line. Granted, it's a pimped-out modern showcase Hummer (not an oldschool military one)...

They re-did the hammer as a convention exclusive but I think it can only hold the classic style figures.

It's up to the stores if they want to carry them. I know the TRU's by me stoped stocking TF's to make sure there was room for when the Movie line hit. I doubt they'll stock new vehicles before the movie line drops.

Movie vehicles is probably what I will mainly get. I am excited to see new Joe toys in stores soon, even if they are movie toys. I'll buy some, but not go insane with them.
I would have grabbed that Night Raven if I had seen it.
The USS Flagg, and my wave 5 vehicles are supposed to show up tomorrow. Dentist first, but will be nice to see them ready for me to get out when I get home from the dentist....
