For all their shortcomings, I still prefer the DW take on G1. Must be the editorial thrust that made the entire TF series suck. Sure we have Furman but........

This issue seemed so cliched that.......oh never mind. This seems to be a habit of IDW of bringing sucky TF stories. Mind you AHM 1 to 8 was nothing less than outstanding, going back to the original roots then suddenly tying them haphazardly to their current universe, seems forced IMHO. And yes, there is something suspicious with Prime suddenly coming back on line. But in the upcoming issue 12 I saw on Previews, I saw Megs and Prime duking it out on the cover so? This might be the real McCoy?

I like the story, I jsut want the old DW artwork back. But sense I ain't buying #9 can someone tell me what happend in it?
