Most of all if you become her friend and still says no, she can still be your friend. Maybe once you become better friends, she may say yes. Be yourself, and good luck. Dude, that was your que to be more specific. If someone says maybe, that means she is interested but needs more information. (And you were kindly taking up her time, not the other way around.)

No one should ever get upset about anything. Least of all at women who are indecisive. By nature women are complicated, changable and often indecisive.

Do I look better in the red shirt or the taupe, what shoes should I buy, what movie do you want to see (cause I think they all stink and I don't want to be responsible for choosing the worst clinker). I liked kittens last year, this year I like puppies. What you didn't know that? HaHa.

Some gals say no and the guy who is really interested gets the thrill of the chase and it can be somewhat more satisfying when she finally says yes for both the guy and the gal.

I don't think the original poster really cares about this thread or else he would have been back.

yes lucy i have asked her out she said no then i told one of my friends that i liked her and he went again and asked her without my consent and when i would even get near to her she would run.

Harsh, but the best advice here is don't let it get to you.

The worst thing is to fixate on it, or try to approach her at this time, seeing your friend has made things worse.

Trust me, I've had rejection before but you get on with things and live your life. When the time is right, you'll find someone who wants to spend time with you.

Who knows, after she's had time to think about things, Lucy might even want to reconsider, stranger things have happened.

well any way since that is out of the way, i have been wanting to say some thing to this girl in school but am clueless to as what to say. i need to know what is going to fast and takein it slow and careful. :oops:

Is she's communicating with you and smiling then you're doing it right, if she's trying to get away then you're doing it wrong.

Just give it a try and see what works.
Worst case scenario: you **** it up and she stops talking to you, in which case you're no further back than square one.

I'm sure you've already decided on what you're going to do, but if I was the girl, I perfer someone just ask.

I'm not sure how this girl is, but if I'm not interested, I've always just been really nice and said, "That's really sweet of you, but no thanks."

Though I'm sure that in itself can be painful anyway.

It'll turn out for the best no matter what.

Well, gifts are too fast. I can tell you that from my embarrassing-just-to-begin-to-remember jr. high days. A date might be too fast, depending on your age (and mobility options might make it difficult.)

Something like, in the hall, hey, don't we have class together? I was wondering about your... doodles on notebook, interesting jewelry, t-shirt logo... something that could be a conversation-opener. If she ignores you or brushes you off, she's not interested... ask again later, but not too soon and not too often. At least she'll remember you as the guy who complimented her interests.

How's that advice sound, peanut gallery?
