Hi-ya all. I've been gone for a while. busy busy busy. work in the studio is starting to slow down so I had some time to whip this up today. the head- I molded off the original g1 head a while ago. and then it's just spray paint.
I couldn't bear the thought of poor dreadwind up there by himself trying to do evil and failing. I mean his powermaster ditched him, he's a repaint of an autobot, and "dreadwind?" why not call him fartbot. no no, I couldn't leave him up there to die. he needed his life mate, his copilot. darkwing

Nice way to tell the suicidal one he's not as cool as his partner. xD

Srsly, nice work. Isn't wasn't really fair to release a Dreadwind without a Darkwing.
(Though personally i liked Dreadwind more)

um...I though about that for about 3 or 4...seconds and said f#%* that.

I'm not about to start cutting into these guys and I don't have the time, tools, brains or nerves. would be cool though.

yeah, I like dreadwind more too. :-?

it's just nice having both. I'm thinking of giving them powermasters at some point. I don't know maybe not.

They look awesome, however I think they'd look better without the FAST packs on the back.

Also, I couldn't really tell, but what did you do about the gap left in the nose of the jet mode, since Dread and Dark don't have Jetfire's helmet.

Did you fill it in, or just leave it?

well dreadwind has the helmet so that's fine. darkwing's head is too big for his jetfire helmet so I don't know. honestly I was so excited when I stood the two of them together I completely forgot about the helmets. the jet packs are pretty huges but I'm a big fan of excessive weapons. :grin:

I'm wanting to do something similar, especially given that Jetfire is still plentiful in the UK. I saw this KO Shockwave earlier today and figured that the head would be near perfect. What do you guys reckon?

that head looks pretty good but might be too big for jetfire's mold. the head has to fit in his cockpit. :shock:

I'm hoping that it's not much bigger than than Jetfire's helmet :shock:

overall. I figured if that was the case then the antennai on the side should go through the holes in the side of the cockpit. I guess the only way to find out would be to buy the sucker. Also while I know that Shockwave was pretty big I didn't think he was quite this big. Does that look like an oversized KO to anyone else or do you think that there's some possibility of hybridising it with a junker Shockwave?

Also forgot to say how much I like your work in my first post in this thread. Bad form waaaaghlord! The colours are spot on, which paints did you use?
