There are ways around that... If you buy the same product, who's to say it's 4 months old? According to the receipt, you just bought it. I don't necessarily condone such things, but I also don't condone poopy product. Guess the question is was it the fault of QC or mishandling?

Toys R Us has a 90 day (~3 month) return policy.
K-Mart does as well, some places may have shorter 30 day policies.
