It's still possible to reissue the G1 Dinobots

I've read in places that the reason why a reissue for the G1 Dinobots (or Mirage, Sunstreaker, etc.) could never ever happen, is because the molds were destroyed, or lost, or some other reason. But look... The G2 Dinobot molds themselves are not composed of totally original molding. If you compare the G1's and the G2's you'll see all sorts of obvious, at the time "newer" differences.

It's clear that G1 Optimus Prime's mold has been redone millions and millions of times, and in different variations, using different copies of that mold. Yet some still worry his mold will degrade, thinking he only has 1 mold made for him. So I ask. Why can't we have our brand new sparkly G1 Dinobot reissued, hmmmmmm?

Eons ago (2006-ish perhaps?), someone at Hasbro, during a Q & A, said something like: "It's just too expensive to remake or even reverse engineer those molds.". That was then, this is now. Computers can do it, no problem. Especially these days. So, c'mon Hasbro and Tomy! I'm not the only one who would love a fresh set. You can do it!

The best thing we can do is hope for a Platnium series release.
