Jazz isnt gonna die is he?! **SPOILERS**
After the monumental beatdown Megatron gives to Jazz ( and by the trailer it´s quite a brutal one) i don´t think Jazz survives that.
It might even anger Optimus and motivate hime even more to get Megatron

ARG! You're cryptic talk is making me crazy with anticipational excitement! Even if Jazz is all stereotypical and such, I'll be happy to see him kick ass. Hell, maybe Ironhide will say something like "Jazz...shut up and talk like a normal robot."
"Affirmitive...ho."
Yes...I should totally write the sequel...even if Jazz has to be a zombie.

i think he is talking about the fact that the bots aint even in the movie till like the last 30 or so minutes of the film.
also....i knew jazz was black because in the script his car is powered by a menthol cold fusion engine...

I must admit, though, the temptation to tell you guys everything is overwhelming. It's only stayed by my fear of litigation.
And a peg leg/fusion cannon with Laserbeak as an autobot parrot!
Stupid litigation.

No, lilcarus, that isn't it. As I said it's something the fans haven't been made aware of yet. I think the producers are aware that it might ruin the experience for some, so they've kept it silent.
As for the robot's screen time, it didn't seem THAT bad. It is a very human-oriented story, and the robots show up fairly early on. I wish they'd had more dialogue, though. Their personalities seemed forced through context.

Oh God...they've included Botanica from Beast Machines as the real main villain! Megatron is just a puppet!

well i know the spike and future girlfriend story is going to kill the movie, but i expected that much.
but if you they made a movie about robots in the falls of war... they should have used that as the center of the story instead of kibble for a boy mets girl yawn fest.

That's not it either. To be honest, Sam Witwicky seems more interested in the robots than in his girlfriend. So it balances well.
You can tell from her line in the trailer, "You drive, I'll shoot!" her acting isn't quite...what's the word..."good."

You saw it 2 months ago, so that would be before the "screenings" took place and no one has really mentioned anything that would be so huge that the producers keep quiet.
Like I said earlier you claim to have seen in so you may be in the know but at the time being I am very inclined to call "bullshit".
We'll see come 7/4/7 though.

Because one is able to discern an oscar worthy performance from 2 seconds of film and 1 line of dialogue.

No, but you can discern a performance that definitely isn't Oscar worthy from a few bits of trailer.

Listening to what exactly. You didnt say anything, you came in made a suspicious comment to tease people and then left when someone actually questioned you about it.

the sterotypical urban youth is no big deal to me...its how you create a character...
ironhide is a stereotypical redneck cowboy, prime is the stereotypical fearless leader, megatron is the stereotypical tyranal leader, etc etc...
as for the major problem in the movie...is it this:
megatron and prime are brothers in the movie...if so, i thought they took that out
/end.

Please let's not start an argument. I didn't make a suspicious comment. I originally came to quell what I knew would be another 20-page argument about some undesirable aspect of the movie.
Naturally, it's turning into this already. As it typically does when some high-powered board member plays the role of defender.
If you must know what the secret of the movie is, there was another robot film released in 2004 with the same problem.

also thinks this guy is a bullshiter...can a mod check his IP and match it up with the users allready registered...i find it odd that his very first post is in this thread on this topic...it sounds like a jazz fanboy is upset and created a dummy account to try and sway others who are excited about the movie...

To me Shia Lebouf isn't a problem
And btw there was no quelling needed, someone simply asked if jazz was going to die based on what we saw in the trailer. You came in and started souting stereotypes.
