Original Sin's thread about Predifying his team inspired me to make this one:

This Thread if for those who are going Pred and would like to modify and adapt their existing characters onto Predacons, or to create entirely new Predicons for your new team.

But Autobots and Decepticons can predify their characters too for fun, if they want.

You can even post the Preds you already came up with.

Just post some of your characters names, traits, personalities, old forms, ect, and anyone who wants to help you (myself included) will help pick out new alt forms and perhaps design your new Predacons.

I am offering to draw your Predacons if I am able.

I got some old, unused Predacon pics that people might like - I'm trying to dig them up right now.

Edit: Unfortunately, I apparently don't have my Skull Island Predacons on my comp. :-(

Still, I got this old stuff; feel free to use them as the bases for your characters - I'd love to see some of these designs cleaned up and 'finished' in color, even if isn't the colors I had in mind when I made them.

Its really more of a flash doodle to get the feel of the character,

I was planning to use the Godzilla alt mode, too. Not as the head bot, but still make use of it none the less. I had actually had an idea for a Godzilla based TF(among other movie monsters) floating around in my head for a while, so that worked out pretty well for me.

As for pics, you might try here.

The rest of my team is mostly completed in the transition from Decepticon to Predacon. There are just four more Decepticons that need to be replaced, once I actually figure out what sort of Preds I want to replace them.

hmmm... I was thinking about this aswell...

After reading this post I watched the first episode again,

If we feel like being lazy we could just choose vehicle alt modes, but I dont think thats good enough.

Preds/Maxis seem to natually possess biological systems as well as mechanical.
and instead of mimicing a planets technology (though they seem capable of it) they seem to prefer to assimilate the planets most dominant lifeforms or at least the most compatable in scanning range.

I could try to come up with some Biological or biomechanical vehicles, weapons, and spacecrafts.

Exploration seem to be a big part of the Maxis/Preds. Maximals explore for research reasons, Preds hunt for energon.
So we could add a collection of alien lifeforms if anyone wants them.

yeah uh I know this is an incredibly stupid question but I never really keep up with the forums.

1. When did predacons come about in this game?
2. How do you become one?(I'm not interested in being one, I just wanna know how it's done.)
3. Why did I just see a lvl 2 predecon whipe out 3 lvl 3 autobots?

1. predacons are are recent addition, intended for the next version of Heavy Metal War, HMW2
2.predacons only exist now as a test, the only way to join is for Omega Sentinel to make you one manually, If he sees you want to be one he will make you one eventually.
He magicly made me one yesterday.
This is just a temporary method, we will all have to re-choose our factions at the launch of HMW2
3. Dunno, perhaps Predacons are natually superior :grin:

Will I have to restart from the beginning when HMW2 comes out? Or will my teams stay the same?

Also when is HMW scheduled to come out?

Don't forget that the 3 bots may have been level bullies in the past, so now each of them may have only 13-14 upgrades.
