I was thinking that the M.A.S.K vehicles are the same scale as Alternators and several of them are fairly realistic looking.

So I was thinking which M.A.S.K vehicles could serve as Pretender shells, there are several you could probably fit a transformer inside with a bit of work.

Some that could function as 1:24 micromaster bases with appropriate "Micro" masters

and I believe some one maybe Superquad has already given us Alternator bases from Boulder Hill

So what homages could you achive which transformers would you select for the interior and which ones would make suitable Neo micromasters

I was pondering Slingshot as Roadblock.

I'm not sure MASK are quite 1:24, but they're not far off.
Interesting idea. I can certainly see Slingshot being useful, as once you've taken out the jet and launchpad, you're pretty much left with an empty shell anyway. Although it might also make for an interesting take on Ratchet or Ironhide...
By the same token, I think Outlaw could be a good shell with fairly minimal modding. The entire tanker part's basically empty once you've removed the missile launcher.
As an outsider, perhaps Firecracker? It doesn't have a lot of transformation going on, as it basically just pops up off the chassis and sprouts guns.

Can't think of any others offhand, as most of them have a lot of moving parts that probably wouldn't match up.

The figures are 1:24, but the vehicles are slightly larger so that the figures that barely move can fit in them. It was one of the first things I checked when alternators started out. Whats the name of the main one, the one with gull wing doors, I think it was a red camero, right?
