Does anyone know if 'MechTech Deluxe - Leadfoot' ever came out as a toy in the USA? (not interested in the Cyberverse or Human Alliance versions). If yes, where can I buy it?

He was supposed to be released in a 2-pack with Topspin as a Target exclusive. A sample of that appeared on EBay not too long ago. However, his US release was canceled along with several other toys:

- Deluxe Wheeljack / Autobot Que
- Deluxe Soundwave
- Human Alliance Soundwave

All of them have been released by TakaraTomy in Japan, but Leadfoot had his sponsor markings removed. Plus, Wheeljack has been released in Asia and HA Soundwave has seen minor release.

I've heard only on E-bay really. There was a picture of the 2 pac on E-bay with him and Topspin.

That sucks! Thanks anyways because I really wanted that particular toy and not the HA version for my collection :-\

So did I. Still, the TakaraTomy version without the logos is still your best bet as the 2-pack's price is astronomical on EBay.

Same thing with Elite-1... wished the actual toy design came out and not the 're-painted' version of Arcee

But they never designed a new mold, save for the chromia colored robot hero thing.

you could do that and go to reprolables for the logos. and there ya have a proper leadfoot.
