They were removed entirely from the game because they weren't working properly and needed to be fixed.
Or someone was protective of his coding and didn't want any future programmers using his code. Whatever theory you'd like to subscribe to.

They were removed from the game a long time ago because they were broken and easily abused; a point which is repeatedly brought up in these forums, like this or this. Or this, or this.

That's not true. OS deactivated a lot of stuff before leaving b/c his upgrades were unstable and he didn't want to dump them on us. I'm pretty sure the codes are still there, just switched off, like Kremzeek was.
