Aww, no actual proto pics of Sideswipe? Anyway, I'm glad it's smaller, honestly, as long as it means lower pricing too. And even if Takara doesn't release it at lower price, Hasbro probably will.

MP-13... looks like it could be a lot of things, but I'm going to speculate Soundwave. It's already been rumored, so it makes sense.

Ok I'm just gonna put this out there and I don't know how true it is but this guy I know says he knows a person who works at Takara. While the guy that works at Takara won't come out straight forward and tell him but gives him hints but this is what he told me. Takara and hasbro are tired of 3rd party so they wanna do 4 mp a year 2 new and 2 repaints. The next mp he said not me is ultra Magnus with trailer that turns into armor then a megatron v2 and then Galvatron and in between each new figure will be a repain of the new seeker mold u know skywarp thundercracker. They wanna do one autobot and one decepticon a year which they already started mp-11 SS the the repaint sun storm then the autobot sideswipe then another repaint which might be mp-13 a repaint of sideswipe then mp-14 might be Magnus then a repaint then Meg's v2 then a repaint then Galvatron. See how it goes autobot decepticon until the last 2 but like I said this is what someone told me but he's also told me other things and they have happened so who knows. And he told me this b4 mp-11 was announced or mp-12 so it's kinda going the way he said I guess we can only wait and see

I also think it could be Soundwave, the shoulder(left in pic) and shape of the lower arm fit, as well as the top of the head. You can also see that the outside part of the arm is longer than the one on the inside, similar to Soundwave's design.
I'm hoping that it is a silhouette of him ejecting a tape from his chest, that could explain why it looks so bulky at the top.

I'm also hoping that the reason the other shoulder looks so large is that he has Laserbeak perched on it

Stop reading at the bold part. I'm sorry, but I don't find "friends who know someone etc." the most reliable of sources.

Kinda concur with that. Plus, I was kinda confused of the explanation.The grammar nazi in me screams for help reading this.

That's ur opinion I know the person and he's not a story teller and I'm not saying this is 100% accurate I'm say just maybe and I wasn't trying to make it an argument just spreading what I've been told that makes a little sense and mp-13 is not soundwave u can tell by the pic it has the Sam arms and legs a mp-12 if it's another repaint that's just another thing that came true from what I was told

I can definitely see Soundwave there for MP 13, just add a shoulder cannon to that silhouette and I think you have a pretty good Soundwave. Let's hope so- I think that would be sweet to have a MP Soundwave that turns into a tape deck with at least his 6 core minions (Buzzsaw, Ratbat, Ravage, Laserbeak, Rumble, Frenzy). Now if they make a MP Shockwave I'll be even more stoked!

After a closer inspection of the silhouette, I change my opinion about Mp-13 being a Lambor repaint, and is now convinced that it's actually Shockwave, with 2 fists minus the pipe-thing.



It kinda makes sense in a way; not counting the repaints/remolds, we might be seeing Big mp, smaller mp release pattern (for unique molds).

If this thing were Shockwave and it has two hands like the FOC fig, as a(n) MP, that would be failjuice...that's the opposite of awesomesauce, right?

Considering that this is the MP-series, the arm-cannon is most likely hidden in the arm, and you'll have to flip it out. So it'll be a 2-in-1, which IS awesomesauce

MP-12 is disappointing at this stage, I hope that it blows me away with the next tidbit we see from it.

MP-13, looks like one of the silhouettes from the old Marvel TF series (#1?). Who? I don't know. You can make a case for practically every guess stated up to this point. Just have to wait.

Liking the Arms Microns stuff we're seeing.

Wow on second look I finally saw the size comparison of Sideswipe to Optimus. Interesting-I will have to compare to Grimlock's size as I do not have Optimus yet (patiently waiting for the American release). I think that'll be cool- and it opens the doors for more MP's more frequently. Can't wait.

And by the way- saw a close up of MP-13's silhouette. Yes- Soundwave for sure. I am SO convinced it's Soundwave that I would be STUNNED if it ends up not being Soundwave. The over all shape SCREAMS Soundwave, minus his shoulder cannon (would be too obvious). I think Shockwave is out because it's head is way too small for him. Shockwave's head is pretty wide and takes up a lot of space on his shoulders whereas Soundwave's head is a bit smaller. My question is if this is indeed Soundwave- how big will he be? I would say more in line with Optimus/Grimlock rather than Sideswipe.

Shockwave's head is more angular, whereas Soundwave's is more round. To me, I really don't see much for a difference in size.

You're all stupid, MP 13 is clearly Beast Wars Megatron, I mean the kibble matches perfectly, it looks nothing like Soundwave.

But seriously, I say it's soundwave. The pic looks like the right side (the figure's left) is closer to the camera, which explains why the shoulder looks so weird and why we can't see the shoulder canon.
Take a look at the arms, the shoulders and "gauntlets" are so Soundwave it hurts.

I wish I could see Soundwave but all my brain will process is another view of Sideswipe.

If it turns out to be Soundwave then that's definitely the next Christmas or birthday present. Probably won't be out this year I guess ><

Was hoping that was MP Soundwave but agree with several that it looks like the Lambor mold from a slight angle. Probably Sunstreaker-would love Red Alert though.

However,if they did skip the Lambor repaints for now and went right to MP Soundwave, that would be awesome.

Out of curiosity I wondered what would happen if I traced the outlines and tried to guess where the angles for the lines could be, this is probably just wishful thinking though
