Re: Pilot of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Yahoo
I thought the pilot was OK but not great. Though I thought it was better than T3 at least. I liked how they handled the whole "why didn't we stop them?" thing better than T3 did.
Only complaint is the school attack scene. I think they could've done better in terms of story there.

Unless he comes back in a later episode, then it can be assumed that either A) Brewster uses him as the basis for his own Skynet System (From T3) or B) he was broken down at a molecular level. (It was a nuclear-based gun)
One problem I have, though: Why 2007? I say this because Judgment Day ended up happening in 2004.
Kind of an inconsistency there, huh? Unless they do something in the series by accident to speed up Judgment Day...

I really enjoyed it. I'm still not convinced yet, but hopeful. Has anyone else watched the 2nd part of the pilot that was on last night? I don't want to cut any spoilers loose just yet.....

who knows... maybe it will turn into a 24 type show.
but I was wondering if we will have Terminator of the week type episodes? That would be terrible in my opinion.
They should just find Robert Patrick and get him to redue his T1000 character!! That would work, its not like he bulked up for his role.

No! My browser crashes anytime I try to go to Youtube! It's been doing that since Friday when my mom made me put a link to the weather site on my bookmarks bar when I was trying to go to Youtube.
I guess I'll have to actually watch TV now to see the show.

They have stated that they do not intend to do this. The main hunting terminator will be more like a reoccurring character. They also plan on plots involving the local authorities, FBI, etc....
I'll try to find the link again....

I hope so..... but I just wonder how the Female Terminator will survive? If people are going to be shooting at her (she won't be dodging bullets either), how will she continue to look human?
Side Question, but she's not a T800 or 850(T3) right? what model is she then?

Well, as long as her "guts" aren't damaged the flesh can heal. Here model number hasn't been disclosed yet....

"In a June 20, 2007 interview, Friedman said the show will avoid the "Terminator of the Week" plot device and that Sarah, John, and Cameron will have other threats than just Terminators. Skynet will also come into play as the series progresses. Furthermore, Friedman stated that the events of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines occur in an alternate timeline from that of the TV series.[6] In addition to having planned the entire story arc for the first season, Friedman has a rough idea for the plot of the following three seasons"

In the second episode, the remains of the terminator were in a junkyard.

Correct. Sunday night was the premiere, but last night (Monday) there was an episode as well. Also billed as part of the premiere.
Monday night will be it's regular time though. So 2 hours of T:tSSC has been aired to date ( minus commercial time)

i'll just have to wait until fox puts it up on their web site then.
I'd be nice if this show gets better because i'd like to have a show to watch. The office is getting old to me and all i've got right now is Family guy. I love mythbusters but....its not like you have to watch every show.

I hope this series will stick around, its better than I thought it would be. It seems like shows get canceled pretty easy now.

Yeah but some shows need to get the Ax...
Cavemen? Loved the Commercials but it just wasn't funny! I think that show would of worked if it was similar to Seinfield and Curb your Enthusiasm.

A prototype for the T-X would be a pretty safe bet.

Just saw the second episode, but I've got some titanic nitpicks with spoilers
Scroll down to read them
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
The evil Terminator from the pilot got his head shot off after breaking into the vault. And the Conners along with their pet terminator travelled to the "future". However the terminator head travelled with them. This should not be possible, since it wasn't covered with living tissue at the time.
The evil Terminator's body was in a scrapyard for some reason. Don't you think that the US goverment would take it apart for study? They had to have found the body at some point for it to end up in scrapyard, so some human interaction with the body should have happend at some point.
Any thoughts on this?

She could be a modified T900, those models have the same powercore and armor as a T-X. Although they lack the built in weapons, nanotech and liquid exterior.
