The actual toys never do the photoshopped images any justice. That is why they always say colour on toys will vary or something along those lines.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

if i may ask, hasbro made a proto-form ss but how come he didn't appear at the movie any reason why?

Him and Prime were just there to "ease" people from the old designs to the new.

And so probably why they just turned into pinched blobs... to make the actual movie figures look "better".
