Q's Role in TF3 / Possible Wheeljack Tribute? (Spoilers)

Weapon: Dual-Sonic Disrupter Gun

I just saw Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon today and had a fantastic time. One thing I noticed was that Q had no relation to Wheeljack in the movie. (aside from being a plot tool for the POW scene and giving the humans weapons.) Anyways, I was somewhat PO'd to see a white robot with green and red stripes during the final battle. I'm sure it wasn't Q, he seemed to be of a blue and silver color. Can anyone confirm this Easter egg? If not, what are your opinions on Q even being in the movie?

You know I thought I did too. There were many, many random decepticons, and it was hard to keep a good eye on all of them. Like Barricade being an almost blink and miss him cameo.
