Looks like Rattrap got hiked to a price of 19.99 from 29.99 in less than 24 hours. The others are still fine with the price in the news

They probably saw people buying like crazy because he was finally at a reasonable price for the size and thought he was just popular and hiked the price up,

Probably, he was definitely at $9.99 "Clearance" for a little while, I'm seeing him at $19.99 "Rollback" sold by Walmart now.

More likely they use an algorythm similar to amazon and have an alloted amount of figures priced at 9.99. When they were bought up, it went back to the standard price.

I was just there yesterday and they were still regularly priced.

I ordered all of them and they came today. Nostalgia hitting hard

Walmart.com, not the physical store. However, they do online price matching to an extent, you can give that a shot, plus the tags don't always reflect the scanned price on the app.

I just picked up a Optimus and Megatron after reading this. $40.31 after taxes. That's like getting one for free, plus $10 off on the other. Couldn't pass that up.

I called walmart and got a price adjustment. They refunded me $12 from the first clearance prices. Ill take it.

Agreed. Saw that and about pooped my pants. I needed office decorations so I picked up the big ones.

More like getting them at their original 1996 Price Point, .

Honestly. I know the cost of materials and shipping has increased dramatically in the last few years. But I feel the same about OG releases as any other timeline, they shouldn't be more than double the original price, which the BW mostly were, except Rattrap, he should have only been $10, as he is a basic, NOT a deluxe, but whatever...

Also its part of the reason I passed on all the retro Original Series releases. $50 for JUST Optimus Prime's cab is absolutely ridiculous. I know they clearance it down to a reasonable price, but the more Walmart has to do that, they less likely they will be to support these releases in the future.

I'd actually be surprised if Walmart chooses to pick up Tigatron and Scorponok early next year. I hope for the sake of those that want them, they do.

I just don't want these. I already have superior-decoed versions of the Rattrap, Cheetor, Optimus, and Megatron molds. I have no need for reissues that either reduce paint apps or make halfhearted attempts at show-accuracy.

I want Scorponok and maybe Tigatron, since those do look significantly better than what was done with these first four. Gimme those instead. And Cybershark and maybe K-9 (if there's some difference to his deco) if the rumors are to be believed.

I keep thinking about Primal, but I am so very happy with both my Kingdom and PotP one, and I have an OG Optimal Optimus, I just can't bring myself to get him even at that price

I just had my order from 2 days ago adjusted for the difference through the Walmart online chat.

just saw that myself. they still refuse to mark down rattrap though. My walmarts have more of him then any of the others.

Likely they haven't hit their acceptable loss numbers yet, hence the lack of change.

Thanks for Tip Now they are just $15. Time to buy a bunch and hold on to them for a year or two. I can't believe they made so many to have to go down to this price.

Agreed. My apologies however, I should have clarified. This was in store. Not sure if it applies online as well? They had a few Kingdom wave 4 and some Cyberverse. For Kingdom Leaders, the store I went to only had about 6 BW Megatrons.

I wonder if Hasbro shipped solid cases of Leader Megatron? Especially after going to the Walmart across the street and seeing 20+ on the bottom shelf ( see Kingdom main thread)

I finally caved and bought the rerelease Optimus Primal at $14 last week on christmas eve. I will post about him in his thread

Definitely, the app is better than the website, but it's still awful
