TFP Soundwave loose joint repair (Help me!)

The joint which I have highlighted in red is loose. When I try to pose him his arm flops.

I am wondering if I can tighten the small metal component or if I should try to use floor polish (I have clear nail polish if that works)

Thanks!

put a dab of floor polish or super glue in the hinge, move it around, and occasionally move the joint as it dries. just make sure the joint doesn't freeze, and you're good.
getting rid of junk. it's a gold... well, ok, silver mine if you're a customizer.

I'm not exactly sure where I should apply it. It's kinda hard to see where the inside of the joint is.

I mean if this were an standard balljoint it would be no problem. But this looks super weird.

just put a dab ON the joint itself. both superglue and floor polish are liquids, so they'll find there way in that joint someway.

Someone online said that it might be a good idea to try pressure on the pin to marry the joint better. I am going to try that first before dabbling with superglue. I will post to let everyone know how it went.

UPDATE! Zee operation was a success!

I tried the pliers method and it did nothing. My next step was I tried some clear nail polish in a craft syringe so I could get it right in the joint. I chose nail polish because if it didn't work it would be easier to remove than superglue.

I used the syringe to carefully place a drop into the joint and then moved it back and forth. I think I added about 3 small drops total and it works like a charm. It took a while for it to set up but now the joint is good as new and I am very happy.

I wore an old dust mask to keep the smell of the nail polish from getting to me. I reckon I looked like a mad scientist!
