So do you guys think we'll see bruticus in the new movie (with a different leg to replace brawl) or is bay & Co just going to kill off onslaught and waste another opportunity to have a popular character for no reason?

The movies are not G1 and even if Bruticus was in the movie which if he has not been revealed at this point when almost every other main character has he is not in the film Bruticus would still not be like G1 Bruticus.

Onslaught not only has a non military alt mode (although still a long truck) and a different color scheme but his robot mode is just Long Haul with new parts it's just a new character with an old name just like Energon Ironhide or Prime Smokescreen who neither look or act like their previous versions.

It's not a waste if there isn't a good opportunity to put him in since this movie is already cramped with lots of robots and antagonists like we have The Creators and whoever they have with them, then we have Megatron and his group of Decepticons such as Barricade and we have the human TRF that hunts Transformers regardless of factions and then we have Optimus himself who has been corrupted.

Bruticus would not have a lot of scenes to himself anyways and would have to be dealt with in the movie he shows up in since it's difficult to do giant characters well and even in the Idw Comics their having trouble with doing Combiners justice.
