You might need to brush up on your MPs...

And the MP-11 Starscream I was talking about.

Weapon: No Weapon
I am well aware of all the different MP seekers and the difference between the molds, and showing me this doesn't change a thing. Don't have any MP seekers, never wanted any MP seekers, and I could care less for the Masterpiece line in it's entirety as it's just not my thing. They're too big, too expensive, and I just find things like Classics/Universe/Generations/ect. generally more appealing.

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.

I'm a killjoy, and proud of it!
don't take that to mean I'm a killjoy just because I can be, though...

That idea about a reunion of as much of the original TF cast as possible got me thinking: you know what would be a lot more feasible than a whole "lost" season 2 and a half?

Transformer OVAs, like the ones Marvel and DC have been churning out for several years. One-shot direct to DVD movies with sketchy-to-no continuity with each other, loosely based on classic comic stories. That'd be a great use of as much of the original cast as possible. Transformers may not pack as much name recognition as Supes or Bats, but an Optimus Prime vs. Megatron story would be a good test of the waters (maybe Prey through Distant Thunder, or All Hail Megatron?), before moving onto some of the most beloved Furman arcs, like Target: 2006, Matrix Quest, or the later Unicron Saga! Making up some new stories to fit in the Sunbow pre-Movie gap could work too, and I could see this getting done far more realistically than a whole season.

Has anyone else had this idea? More importantly, has there ever been word of it being tossed around in official circles?
