Do you think that repainting a TF actually decreases the value of it in the long run?? Such as a CC BB if you repaint him now and decide to sell him in ten years from now what will happen??

If resale value is what you care, don't repaint. People won't buy it, unless you can do one at very professional level of custom paint job. Besides, 10 years from now, people would want an original toy, not a custom of what they want.
But for sheer enjoyment, sure thing. I painted all my TF movie toys I bought.

repaints are all very nice and well, but I know that personally the older figures I am looking for, I want in original condition (or close too) and I wouldn't want a fan-painted custom.
So if you want to resell, repainting the figures may not be the best idea. But by all means repaint them if re-selling is something you do not intend on doing in the future.

Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

Anything repainted is worth far less to me than an original.

When it comes to oldies like G1s I tend to buy up sun yellowed TF's for repaints as the are worth very little anyway.

Alot of TF's have good resale value boxed or not, also when I remove a TF from its package I make sure to save the original packaging and instructions... not that Im really worried about resale but I like to have my TF's %100 complete.
