Evening all,
I got the Anniversary MP Prime in a UK toy store a number of years ago through chance, I didnt even know MPs existed back then but boy am I glad I found that and then discovered everything else!
When MP 10 was released I was indifferent because I already had a Prime and didnt see the need to pay for another (this is not about MP 01 / 04 vs 10!) however now that my autobot car collection is growing (Prowl, just ordered Sideswipe, Bumblebee & Wheeljack) I am regretting not having a trailer and not being able to car them all up next to full Optimus with trailer.
I have seen trailer-only items on Ebay for MP 01 - a) does anyone know if this is compatible with the Anniversary Prime (which I am lead to believe is something between MP01 and MP04) and b) has anyone else experienced this or even purchased one of these trailer only items?
Grateful in advance for your help,
PadForce

It is compatible, the only differences mold wise between MP1 and Anniversary Prime are the shorter smoke stacks on Anni Prime.
From what I hear the trailer only thing is pretty good, but I wouldn't really go for one, since it doesn't do anything, it's just a box on wheels, and goes for way more money than I would be willing to spend on it.
And the other two transforming trailers for the figure are super hard to come bye.
At this point, I would say it might be best to check your local TRU if they still have a Hasbro MP 10 and get that. Works better with the current MP line, and would present the best bang for your buck compared to the trailer only option. You can delegate Anni Prime to be a cool display ornament by itself then. Which is what I did.
But if you don't want to go that route, yes from what I get the trailer only thing is pretty well made.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

mp1, mp04 and Hasbro's 25th anniversary Prime use the same general mold. Differences in paint and small safety changes like the aforementioned smokestacks are the only differences.
The Trailer should fit Prime without issue.
As for trailers, several 3rd party trailers were produced back in the day. Justitioys made a pretty decent one if you can find it.
